I won two wonderful books from this lovely author,
and they arrived today along with the most heartwarming letter

I feel SO lucky to have been able to participate in this auction,

A novel, set in the fells of Cumbria, and it tells the story of a cat, written from the cat’s point of view, of being cruelly abandoned in the woods and having to fend for himself. He has lots of scary adventures on his own in the wild.

Eventually he finds a new life with a little girl called Kirstie, who loves him deeply, but then things go wrong. It is sad and happy and there is a lot about animals of all kinds and country life.

It is meant for Year Six onwards, but I wrote it in a way that I hope that many of my adult cat lovers will enjoy.

Note: I have read this book and it is a beautifully written, enchanting tale of a brave little kitty. Definitely a book to be enjoyed by all ages.

Marilyn has very kindly offered to sign this book with a personal dedication to the winner.
