must be good with small children.
specifically requesting female cat due to previous experience with male cats.
we prefer tabbies as we are used to them and like their temperament but will consider any breed.
Our previous cat used to pounce on my daughter while she was sleeping, and used to scratch her when she tried to stroke them. Olivia loves to play with their special toys and let her chase them around the garden and house playing, she loves cuddling them but has never tried to pick one up. So any cat coming to join our family must be laid back and willing to be fussed over without being agressive or too playful.
Possibly an older cat for these reasons.
please contact me if you can help us fill the whole in our family and find our perfect pet
thanks

I have replied to your post by pm.

I doubt an older cat would be able to cope with the stress of young children, I know mine couldnt :shy:

:welcome: to Purrs, Sami.
How old is your daughter? I ask because some young children often fail to understand that a cat is a sentient being and not a cuddly toy. And I must ask what happened to your previous cat?
Tabby is just a colour, by the way, not a breed, so it doesn't confer temperament.
Anyway, let's take it from here and see if we can help you and a cat :)
