RIP little Black and White kitty I saw on the side of the A453 this morning on the way to work. Somone had kindly moved him / her onto the grass verge.

RIP little one, can only hope it was quick and that his/her owners find out :(

I have a horrid feeling he / she may well be a feral / farm cat Helen as there really are NO houses near to where it was. The nearest dwelling is a farm across the other side of the field. I reallywanted to stop but this road is a hideous single lane in each direction and is the main route from the M1 into Nottingham. :'( Since I have been working at the power station I have seen about 10 dead badgers and loads of foxes killed on the road. It's horrid :(

At least he/she had someone to mourn his/her passing then

Elle ... the A453 is the road that runs from Clifton out to the M1 .. past Ratcliffe power station. I think it's too far away to be your baby xxx

Elle, the council pick up all RTA pet animals from the road , and scan them for microchips so their owners can be contacted and informed.
If it had been Billy, you would know by now.
