I didn't watch it all last night but find it quite a depressing programme as most of the people there don't look like they want to be there.  Poor man though losing Whiskers.

Did anyone else see the TV programme about a retirement village in Milton Keynes tonight?
It featured one of the residents, an 89 year old widower and his black and white puss, Whiskers.

I think Whiskers was his only friend left and then... poor Whiskers fell ill and had to be pts. :'(
I cried my heart out for that man; he'd lost his wife and then it showed him looking back at pictures of their 5 cats; Whiskers was the last.

A real tear-jerker.

God Bless Mr Whiskers
xx
