I also think its ok to have fiv positive and negative cats together if they dont fight. Its a very fragile virus in the environment 

Personally I would have no problem with having an FIV cat with my lot.
Infact N0 11 was an un-neutered stray so chances are he is prob FIV

That's correct, there is very little risk of FIV being passed on even in multi-cat environments as long as they don't bite etc.

No risk whatsoever in your friend's situation.

Thanks for the info Michelle.  One of my friends was asked to look after a lovely tabby and wants to but we weren't sure what the situation is.  Thats great.

This is just a general query about cats with FIV.  I know they can only live as a single cat or with others who have the same illness, but would you be able to home non-infected cats when the FIV ones were no longer with you?
