Hi Helen.

She's OK, gave me a scare though.
We went for blood tests tonight, they were very good with her, but she really has had enough of trips to the vet.
At the moment, she is eating, and being her usual lovely self, and now I'm just going to make her as happy as I can for however long we've got.
The new vet seems really good, two young women, both very relaxed, they actually listen to what you tell them, which is nice.
One of them has a difficult cat of her own, and has given me some pill pockets to try, but Cora hates them.
We have to wait for the results of the blood tests now, that will be Monday, I think.

Hi Suzy

I didnt spot this one - hows Cora getting on now?

She was back to normal last night and this morning.
When it happened, I phoned the emergency vet, as it was 9pm, and they didn't think it was too serious.  I phoned them again
at midnight, she had stopped wobbling about but was clearly unwell, and wouldn't eat, they still didn't think it was too was serious.
I also phoned my own vet next morning (yesterday), when Cora seemed to be improving, and they didn't think it was was anything, which is why I am asking if anyone else had seen side effects from this drug.
The way in which she became ill and recovered would say it's a side effect, as she was fine before the jab, and was fine 24 hours later when it was out of her system.
The drug is a diuretic, and I was worried for her kidneys.  We are back to the vet tonight, so I will mention it again.

? side effects from Dimazon injection

Just wondered if anyone out there has had a cat show side effects from a Dimazon jab?
Cora had to have one last night, and she took to her bed for a few hours, then when she got up her back end was all wobbly,
like she was drunk, and she seemed to have either pain in the region of her kidneys, or a tummy ache.
She wouldn't eat either.
It could just have been that she'd not had enough tablets, as she's playing up about them again, but I'm not so sure, as it's behaviour I've not seen in her before.
