I'm a newbie. Iv'e been "lurking" for a wee while so I thought I would jump in and say hello.
-
Hi alleycat, welcome to Purrs, Be warned this place is addictive  Tell us about yourself and your furbabes ;D There is a rule here that says you have to post pix of your babes ;)
-
  I have one baby and one that's just turned womwn today (little tart) She keeps sticking her bum in his face rolling about the floor and yowling :wow:. He's had his pom pom's removed so no problems there. They are indoor Ragdolls. I love them to bits.
-
they really are quite shameless when they are in heat arent't they :Luv: Are you planning to have her neutered? Or do you think you may breed her?
-
I got her on the active register but I haven't really made up my mind yet. Part of me say's no another part says yea. I'd love a show cat from her but nothing is guaranteed in life :-: so for now it's an open question.
My wee boy was very ill as a baby and I nearly lost him. He had caliche virus so that's another factor I have to think about and research.
-
yes, it's good you are taking your time. Remember though that it is not good for your wee girl to have too many seasons if she is not bred... Really takes it out of them...
-
Yeh I know. Done all the reasarch ;D I haven't bred before so I have L plates when it comes to getting a stud. She's really come into season quickly as she is only 10 months. Normally Raggies are between 12 and 14 months for there first call. Just my luck
-
there's folk here who breed, and some that don't approve of it, but you will get lots of good advice anyway. Sounds like you are doing all the right things though, so good on you ;D
-
To be honest black Cat you get that in everything. Whether it's to show, breed or what you feed. I don't ram my opinion's down peoples throats and don't expect them to do that with me. I'm live and let live or a coward
-
   I try to stay out of fights myself
-
I like you already  How on earth do you post pics? I keep getting told they are too big (did I say I was blond when it came to technology?) Photobucket seems to be down too
-
I usually compress mine to around 70 or so, but photobucket seems to give more flexibility if you know how to use it. Try opening in Microsoft picture manager then edit and compress. I usually use the web-page size and it is ok ...
-
Welcome to Purrs, but if you are unsure about breeding, please do spay your little girl, too many unbred heats will put her life at risk. WE have people on here who have knowledge on the calici virus.
-
Dont worry if I decide not to breed she wont have another call. As for the Caliche virus, well all I can say is you can read up on it but unless you go through it......
-
