Sorry to hear that Tab  :hug: :hug:

I remember I was in bits when I called Axa to let them know Maxy was no longer with us  :'(

One thing which surprised me immensely was that they paid for the pts, or at least I assume they did.  Well, put it this way, I called my vets 3 weeks after it all happened asking for my final bill for the pts and cremation, and they said it had been covered, and I had nothing to pay  :)

My first vet in London would be like that with Kocka and as I had not ever used another one , I thought they all cared and were good but so not the case.

My vet is fantastic and I actually drive past one to get there. They once offered to put Mogs and Amber up over christmas as Amber had cystitis and I was worried about the tablets when I was away. My parents have used this vet since before I was born and they are so kind. Mogs didnt like men and really didnt like being picked up but Patrick would tuck her under his arm and cart her off for blood tests with no problems. He then brought her back and she would scratch me as a protest  :evillaugh:
Im living in memories and tears today  :'(

Yes I so agree.

the consolation though is if the vet was good cos I had a bad one which was very hurtful indeed.

Ambers already with Axa but I couldnt change Mogs because of existing conditions.
Its silly I kind of expected it I just hadnt thought it through. I now have a credit card next month and not enough money to pay it and will have to borrow from my parents.

Yes definately cancel the direct debit cos dont trust any of them to stop demanding money and then its a pain to get back.

Next insurance needs to be AXA or similiar I think.

I cant remember if Sainsburys paid for Kocka to be pts cos its all a blur.

Well today Ive got the cheque for the final claim for Mogs insurance.

£271 for treatment less £41 for pts as they dont pay that £230
£45 for high blood pressure less than excess sp £0
Less 5 months premiums £125
so I get £105.....great cant even afford my credit card bill now. Then again at least I wont be paying monthly premiums anymore but Im stopping the DD just in case.
