Title: Thanks yet again for Da Bird!
Post by: Sheli_80 on April 06, 2009, 18:54:45 PM
Da Bird has been a life saver with my kitten Basil, he loves to watch the birds first thing in the morning but gets really stressed not being able to catch them and would take it out on the other cats. Now I just bring out Da Bird whenever he has been up there for more than 10 minutes and it really helps him take out any bird related aggression in a safe fun way(and helps the the other cats who would be on the receiving end of his annoyance). It's always been a firm favourite with Charley over the last year but with Basil it's actually a necessary part of our morning routine.

Poor thing is mangled now, will no doubt be having to stock up on replacements and the odd kitty copter very soon!!!

I remember reading once that cats need to pounce 10 times a day or something.

Only 10? I think the memo Basil recieved added an extra 0 or two- if it moves it gets jumped on and if it doesn't well he just gives it a little smack to make sure.

Byron is exhausted she'll probably sleep the rest of the day we've been playing DaBird and DaMouse this morning and she was flicking her Stinky round before that!  :tired:
