Awww, Cassie is a beautiful girl. My tabby torti regularly has her tail in that shape, and quivering! She's very exciteable. :)

First thing that springs to my mind when I see that is that the first few bones in the tail could be fused. Is her tail capable of hanging down onto the floor?

And no i dont think its something to worry about, perhaps it is just going to be "her" but see what the others say on this here and perhaps she may be a candidate for slightly earlier than normal spaying.

Mmm so you are saying that normally her tail is in the same position as the others and looks exactly the same except when she gets excited she does this ?

The only "normal" time i can think of a female cat doing this on a regular basis is when she is in season.

I know some cats can become sexually mature very very young but i would have thought she really is too immature for that just now ?

its wired as she does it when she's excited, like when i go to stroke her or when shes playing, well most of the time, but yes she can keep it straight, is it something to really worry about?

Mmm im not actually sure that looks quite normal .  you say she can move it but can she make it go "normal" like the others tails ???

I'm sure even if there is an abnormality its obviously not doing her any harm but may be worth taking her along to the vet for their opinion.

it hasnt started yet but look for the threads on the cat show, its a fundraising event so we pay to enter our little pride and joys into the comp and the money raised goes to good cause.

there is a rediculous amount of catagorys lol  (makes it more expensive for us hee hee) so you'd have to select which class to enter your prespective bundles..Reckon lancer defo needs to  go in aswell.

8 weeks is the mimumin age for kittens/pups. NOT LESS THEN 8 WEEKS.  Altho when gettin weaned they will still feed occasionally from mum, also mum does more then just feed them shelll be teaching them ,

I think theres to many problems when they get taken away from mum under the 8 week age & running the risk of losing them

Absolute minimum of 8-9 weeks but it's far better to keep them until they are 12-13 weeks old.

Agree with the others, they are only 7 weeks old, so too young really. Good luck in convincing your neighbour - and dont let her wear you down to agreeing!!

the kittens will be 8 weeks on the 30th of april, there all eating food now but most days still eat from mum, my neighbour has ask if she can have her one tomorrow, i said it was ok but now im abit worried? would she be ok to go or should i keep her with mum till 8 weeks?

Theres no way i would let your neighbour have the kitten yet. If they arnt 8wks till the 30th they are bearly 7wks old.
Speak to your neighbour and explane they arnt old enough to leave Mum yet, if she gets funny then she isnt the right person to have one as she isnt doing what is best for the kitten

Personally i wouldnt let them go until they are 12wks !!

Preferably 12 weeks, they learn important social skills from being with mum that bit longer!

Kittens need to be with their mum until that are at least 8 weeks old.
