I've been to the vets to see this little darling and she seems pretty bright.  She was very dehydrated when she was taken in so has been on a drip and she's also had something to eat.  We're not sure what's happened with her, she doesn't appear to have any injuries but does have a head tremor so could possibly be poison or maybe she's been banged on the head, I honestly don't know.  My name is now on her card so if she carries on improving, she will be coming home to me in a couple of days........I've christened her Phoebe  :Luv:  When I gave her a fuss, she reached her paw out to me and placed it on my hand, what a little darling  :Luv2:  :Luv2:

I do hope he will recover, do they think he was collapsed cos of the cold or something else, lack of food?

I'm not sure tbh, it's possible if he's been feeling crap and the weather being the way it is, he was probably on the verge of giving up bless him  :'(  He's in with a chance now and the vet who checked him I wouldn't trust her opinion anyway.  The VN is lovely, she took on a stray a few weeks ago that was taken into the vets in really poor condition.  Her whole body was covered in scabs, she was very underweight and feeling very sorry for herself.  She is now a spoilt little girl and looking tonnes better thanks to the VN  :Luv:  :Luv:  I have to tell a little white lie and say I saw the cat in the vets when I went in to get some wormers even though I haven't been in this morning  :shify:   The things you have to do eh  :evillaugh:

She informed me this morning she's turning into me........not sure what she means by that  :sneaky:  I'll pop in this afternoon to see him, hopefully something can be sorted out for the little fella but he'll remain in the vets for a couple of days anyway if he can be saved.

Had the vet nurse on the phone this morning and a cat was found collapsed in someone's garden.  He's on a drip at the moment, his temperature was really low and they are talking about putting him to sleep at 5 o'clock if there's no improvement.  She has secretly done a FIV test and it's come back negative but she doesn't feel comfortable them euthanising him.  She has persuaded me even though I'm on the verge of bankruptsy to take him if she can talk the vets round  :tired:  She thinks a couple of days of antibiotics will show some improvement, although she's not really saying the vet is wrong  :shify: Hopefully they'll be some improvement and this little one will be okay  :wish:
