Sometimes a shy cat has its positives

I have discovered the joy of changing the bedlinen, with cats present and not fighting to keep control of the situation :evillaugh: Bond could not care less, he is not about to get close enough to a standing up doing stuff human being to notice the joy that can be had in "helping" said human being change the bedlinen :evillaugh:

They also do not feel the need to wake you up at 4am because they are hungry, no, instead they wait till you are in the kitchen and all gather in the hall to stare you down pitifully :evillaugh:

No shame in attempting to steal leftovers from plates left on coffee tables though. They are so quick and quiet (skills learnt from their pre-home days no doubt) that half the time you don't even know they've done it till they're happily munching away in the hall with their spoils :evillaugh:

Rescue cats are proving very interesting. Oh, they still jump down from surfaces with a thud a baby elephant would be proud of!
