YUM what a brilliant idea!
I don't doubt Manchester is too far away :( but maybe if other NorthWesterners were interested we could club together for your train fare or petrol costs or something?
-
That sounds great. I dont drive so will have to convince O/H to drive me to manchester. Lets see how the bidding goes, perhaps i could do manchester too. :sneaky:
-

Me too. I love it when people offer their expertise and it would be so sad if this one went to waste because of geography. I'll have to have a think about how we might do this.
-
how about an lesson over the phone? Like a personal talking cook book! :Dont know:
-
hey what about a conference call so several of us can do it at same time .hee hee it'd be chaos
gosh I am drooling and I've just eaten me brekkies :-[
Distance learning lol :yesss:
-
my oh is in IT, will have to get him to sort out the wireless connection so that i can model in the kitchen like nigella lawson :wish:
talking of cameras, check out this link of a cat called Annie. absolutely fantastic!!!
http://www.zefrank.com/annie/navigation.html
-
excellent :-[ you'd better at least keep your pinny on though in case you get splashed by hot fat lol
-
The conference call sounds great fun but it could be looooooong and could work out expensive. How about the winner recieves the recipes/tips on how to go about it and does their own cooking on a day/time when Mischief and Kayto agrees to be available to offer advice on the phone if needed.
There could even be more than one winner and we (note I include myself here ;D ) could all pay our money to Ron and have a countrywide cook-in. If there was more than one person in any particular area perhaps they/we could team up.
Am I getting carried away? Probably. Whatever, I start the bidding at £5.
-
you can do the conference call through your computer for free!
all we need is a video cam or and camcorder or digital camera that will work as a camcorder and broadband
Or we can just use skype which is completly free if you have broadband and a microphone and speakers or a PC headset.
£6.00 psssst what kinda curry is it ??? I'm salivating again ;D
-
I fear Carol is right... so I bid £7 and offer two spare rooms (double and single) to any out-of-area interested parties who'd like to come and stay and join in. ;D
TOP BID I THINK AT END OF SATURDAY
-
;D
-
yup spoke to my O/h, and if he can sort out the wireless network i will be modelling :wow:, i mean teaching :sneaky: cookery.
menu,
a rice dish,
a meat based dish,
and a vegeterian dish.
( sorry i can't make naan breads :stupid:)
-
By the way, as an added bonus, my food is healthy ( dont worry i am not a bean and sprout addict) but tasty food does not need to be swimming in calories :yayyy:
-
Sounds wonderful! I bid £8.00!
-
:bid: Mimi
-
by the way, whoever wins the bid, if they prefer i can email the recipies and be available on the phone at a certain time to give advice. Am happy to do the cooking on a conference call too, it is just i thought not all of us are computer wizards, infact i am totally useless at them :pcprob: and can only survive in this computer age since my O/H is a geek :Luv:
comeon keep bidding, think nice tasty meal and happy cats at Ron's place
-
£9
 Is it possible to update the title of this offer in some way to show that its now countrywide? Its possible that some people looked at it initially and haven't looked again because they were too far away.
-
good idea carol, how do we update the title? moderator :help:
-
After much trial and tribulation this is done but I think the thread is also lurking where it landed when I thought I was just changing the title
Any way title is changed hope that is OK?
