Seriously though I do like to think they know that we are helping them, however stressful it is at the time.

I think you're right, and the other thing is that they are just so happy to be HOME  :hug:

Very pleased that Bubbles is feeling better. Isn't it lovely how they can tell you sometimes how they feel ,without words.

Bubbles has been to the emergency vet on Monday and our own today, following a bout of cystitus.   She is fine now and this evening I felt that she was saying 'thank you' for making her feel better.   She snuggled up to me purring on the sofa, put her paws on my leg and licked my hand as if to say she understood - just hope she feels as grateful when the next tablet is due !   Seriously though I do like to think they know that we are helping them, however stressful it is at the time.
Unconditional love is hard to find unless you have a cat
