Hello everyone i have recently joined cat chat and so have now joined this one too - its too addictive!
We are planning to go to a few shelters in Birmingham to see if they think our home is suitable for re-homing - i really do hope it is but as its is an apartment in the City Center and we have two cats already I'm not sure if anyone would consider us :(
But anyway in the meantime i am thoroughly enjoying reading through both the websites

~~~~~POST ON CATCHAT ~~~~~~~
We live in a two bedroom apartment in Birmingham city centre.
We are looking to re-home a cat or kitten who will happily live indoors with access to a terrace area (supervised)!
We already have 2 lovely female cats Tess and Miah who have been neutered and are very spoilt. They have enough toys to share so we are hoping to take on a new sister or brother.
We are happy to consider cats with disabilities who may be harder to re-home as they may well be more suited to an indoor life. But obviously they will need to get on with our two girls and thrive indoors.
My brother lodges with us and is a student so even though we work 9-5 weekdays he is pottering about as well.
Safe secure loving home on offer.
Please get back to us
Hello, welcome to Purrs, good luck finding your new furbabe!!!
Would love to see some pics of Tess and Miah!!!
Hiya and :welcome: to Purrs ;D
It certainly is a bit addictive on here :wow: and yes we would love to see some pics of Tess and Miah.
Good luck with your search for another furbabe, I know some rescues won't home to indoor environments, I was going to suggest an FIV cat, but there could be issues if they fight. I guess it depends on their personalities?!
As you can see no matter how many cat toys they have lying around the house a good old piece of cardboard will surfice!!
JackSpratt - oh yes Miah loves it. Tess prefers to sit on your shoulder across the back of your neck or on the OH head! :evillaugh:
