Gilly and Gemma came into the Branch in July - they are 9yr old sisters, a quiet couple of ladies who dote on one another and need to stay together.
They are very pretty but because they are a pair, they are older, and they are quiet so they do not push themselves forward - everyone just walks past them and unfortunately we have not had one enquiry about them for all the time they have been with us.
It is so sad to see them waiting day after day
Could anyone consider two lovely pals together?.
They would be suitable as indoor cats, but could equally visit outdoors as well.
If you can please get in touch with RSPCA Stafford Wolverhampton branch at rspcasw@aol.com or tel: 07715 540206

:( aww isn't it that sad. They are both beautiful and if I wanted 2 kitties I'd choose them. Fingers and paws very tightly crossed they get their forever home together soon
(eta just checked, and glad to see they're on Top Cats, was going to suggest that :) )

Awww what gorgeous girls! If it was me visiting the branch, I'd make a beeline for them! I can't resist calico/tortie & whites! :Luv2:
& what beautiful green eyes they have! I hope they get picked soon :)

Two beautiful ladies :Luv2: Really hope their forever home is just around the corner

Awww :( :( poor babies , July !!! :( It's funny how most people like a more outgoing cat , personally i prefer the shy, gentle ones :Luv:
I believe they make super pets once they get to know you :Luv: :Luv:
My cuddlepuss is shy and gentle and i have no doubt that no-one would be interested in him if he was in rescue even though he's the best cat in the world :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv:

Gilly and Gemma have found a new home together in a quiet household...however after 3 months in their new home one of them (I am not sure which one) still refuses to come out from under her blanket and if she does the other cat seems to bother her and pick on her a little.
So we are monitoring the situation for a while longer to see if she does eventually settle or whether they may be best separated after all.....hopefully with a bit more tlc thing will settle down. :Luv:

Lovely to hear they've found a nice home together :Luv:
I'll move this to sorted now.
I hope that things do settle down, just curious but were they getting on ok before they were homed?

The one girl always hid under her blankets more then the other but they didn't fight and weren't nasty to one another...we all hope that everything will settle given a bit more time.

Maybe it's the stress of the move then, hopefully it will settle. We had 2 cats and one always hit the other when stressed but it worked fine because the other cat was so placid and looked after him and let him take out his stress on him! Fingers crossed for them xx
