Title: lucky
Post by: ronandcats on July 09, 2012, 11:57:58 AM
This little feller was brought into us at 11pm on friday night, he was found screaming in a ally behind some houses. he was found by two youge lads, who took him to the nearst house to se if thay had lost him, when the lady in the house told them it was not from around  there aera she ask them what they was going do with the poor little mite, they told her that they had Dogs and could not take it home, so it was brought to me at 11 pm saturday by the kind Lady, we called him Lucky, as i think it was born outside and had got seperated from mum and was trying to call her as he was coverd in mud and riddled with fleas, he is now tucked up in a warm Bed and made himself known to all the house cats.

only two kittens a week ago now got 20,  they are coming in every day i think the people who are bring them have bread them to sell when they find out they cant sell them they bring them to us with all sorts of storeys, i had a person who  said she could not afford to have her cats done so I phoned the vet and booked them in for neutering at 8-30 yesterday on my account and the vet phoned to say they had not turned up   >:( you just cant help some people

How annoying. When I was volunteering at the local CHAT shelter. This happened a lot, people tried to sell their kittens and any that they couldn't find homes for them they would try to get the centre to take them. So they would only take kittens if they could take all the unneutered cats in the house and get them spayed. The owners were usually not very happy about it. It's unbelievable that people think rescues are some kind of public service.
