Well in that case, I am going to stick my neck out and say that it sounds like normal perspiration/lubrication. (ducks for cover.  :shify: ) Certainly speak to your vet about it when she's due back there next week, or if it does appears to worry her or get worse, why not phone the vet and ask what you should do?  :shy:

It was just a glisten, no dripping or running or nasty smells, hmmmm maybe she had just been to the toilet? I will give you info how she is once I get home about 7....... I hope it's nothin

You could always show us a picture. We've seen a lot of cats bits here!  :evillaugh:

My Tilly is very proud of her botty and always showing folks how clean she keeps it.  :naughty: She does sometimes have some thin clear mucus around there, especially just after a visit to the tray.  :-[ I guess the question I'd like to ask is about the amount she's passing? Is it like a constant discharge that trickles down, or is it that her botty bit just appears to glisten?  :-:

Oh... and we promise not to tell your work mates you've been sniffing your cat's bum.  :rofl: :rofl:

She is about 6 to 7 months and yes she is spayed about a week and half ago

she has to go back to the vets next thursday (2nd) for a check up on a sore spot........is this an issue that will need to be seen before then i take it? possible infection if left?

it kinda looks a bit like cooking oil lolst had a sniff n didnt really smell........just a lil poo smell but nothin stron at all..my nose was right in hahaha

A vet check up is your best bet, if its very smelly it could be an anal gland problem, if they get infected its very painful so an experts eye is the answer
