I don't suppose it's helping matters keeping Charlie in with this glorious weather, hope your getting the same as here in London. Still won't be too long before he will be King of his own little Kingdom. Glad his tummy is all sorted out now.

Sorry, yes no news is good news he is back to normal phew!  eating for England and charging round the place.  Cat proofing just started today as I had a hiccup with guy who was supposed to be doing it so Roz's crew arrived at 8.40 this morning from Norfolk and are doing it as I write.  Charlie has been a pain in the butt the last three days wanting out.  He has tried everything.  I know it is because there is work going out outdoors but hopefully tomorrow he can go out again.  Thanks for all the good wishes.

Had to take him back to the vet today as he still has quite soft poo although not going as often. Vet gave him anitibiotic jab and a course of pills.  Charlie got caught short in the waiting room - I knew cos he was meowing to get out of his basket and he never does this unless he needs the toilet.  The vet nurse put him in a cage with a tray and sure enough he obliged.  Then he stayed in the cage until his turn and watched the nurses.  Seemed to be quite enjoying himself.  The vet has given me some more Sensitive wet plus a bag of dry (Charlie wont usually touch dry but just to prove me a liar he wolfed some when we got home).  Vet said should expect improvement by Wed but his bowels, whilst still quite full, are firmer.  Fingers crossed for Charlie boy

try smearing t good and proper on his paw so that he can't shake it off (its a butter to get off walls and ceilings ).

I did have one cat who enjoyed eating it straight from the tube which was brilliant as I'd spent the day before fighting to get the stuff down. :-[

Yes he was, took it in when I dropped him off.  Seems to be improving.  Still runny but nowhere near as often and is eating well.

Well he still has runny poo but has eaten and been very playful.  WIll continue the probiotic (it's murder to administer) and if no better tomorrow will whisk him back.

Not sure what has caused it.  Could be stress, over eating (yesterday).  His temperature is fine but he has a lot of runny poo left in his bowels.  Vet gave me a probiotic paste he has to have three times a day and some RC Sensitive which he usuallly loves but wont look at.  Vet said if not showing signs of improvement by mid tomorrow to take him back for antibiotics.  Feel sorry for him he is very quiet although still wanted to play with Da Mouse.  Vet gave him his first dose of probiotic and he has to have another this evening.  Poor Charlie boy

you could be right about bugs at the cattery and I hope it's just something simple and quickly sorted so you and Charlie can have a good weekend. All the best

He's got the runs - still playful but not eating much (def not Charlie) so have made an appointment for 3.40 to get him checked in case he has picked up a bug at the cattery.  Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about
