Title: Christmas question!?? Cattery or not
Post by: kymberleyc on May 25, 2013, 14:10:07 PM
Hi all,
I know it may be a bit too early to think about Xmas  :scared: but I have been thinking it over. We are going away 29th dec-2nd jan. so Millie will be in the cattery for that time. Now usually at Xmas we stay at my mums from the 24th-29th so we have had to re jig things! So what would be best for Millie? Do we go to my mums and then put her in the cattery? Stay at my mums a couple of nights then come back home for a day and then take her to the cattery?!!
I'm so unsure as I don't want to upset her!

At my mums she is fine once settled with her blanket etc and at the cattery she is well looked after and the best in the area!

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Many thanks

Kymberley & Millie xxx

I think to cause the least stress I would suggest straight to the cattery, and back home when you're ready to bring her back.
Most cats don't enjoy a lot of moving about, and she may feel very unsettled and unhappy with all the travelling.

I am changing the title of this because the current one is misleading.

I think to cattery for whole time and you may need to do booking now!

Yep, agree with this - easiest thing for all concerned would be the cattery for both segments of your plans.

Thanks everyone I think I might do that or maybe just go to my mums for just 1 night and leave Millie at home with a litter tray etc and then stay at home with her??
Thanks for replying xx
