co-incidentally I went with my mum on Saturday and was not very impressed with the shop in Coventry. I did like the metal cats for the garden and almost bought a guitar playing one as an impulse buy but resisted!

Ellie, next time you go to coventry check out batleys - we have an account with them and i can give you the number - thats where I get the groups litter from. I believe they are doing felix asait on special - but be aware you have to add vat to the prices.

That's a shame Ellie, ours is wonderful (unless you want cat litter, they only had the woobased at mine - but £6.99 for 30l). I have had that prob with the sign being nowhere near before though!!
Amy and Dawn - I must be really stingy with my girls then!! But they aren't allowed a lot of dry, and I do mix at least one 750g bag of another brand with it.

Well went to the Range yesterday was most unimpressed  :(

The sign for the Pet department was nowhere near where the things were  >:( and they didn't have much in the way of cat stuff  :-:

Maybe I went on the wrong day  :tired:

Mine are on PAH own brand for the first time this month Amy and seem to like it - its mainly for the fact its "light" though and two of our cats are a little on the tub tub side  :evillaugh:

Sod's law though that Cheese (teeny tiny) likes munching the light while Gerti and Doc will steal her "full fat" food!

Totally agree desley..
I bought PAH own brand  this time and they don't like it as much as JWB. So at that price i will be able to get it all the time  as its roughly the same as PAH own..
Dawn it only lasts mine 3 weeks as well!!

At least it is a long term offer Amy, I'm on my third bag at that price, and a 2kg bag lasts my two months and months.

Sadly, no it isn't - was a bit annoyed with myself, cos I was only in PAH a fortnight ago, but didn't need any then (and prob a good job with how much I spent without it!!) - it is still cheaper than the RRP though. I think their 5kg bags were cheaper than the one I bought through Smylees (who also sell cheaper than the RRP, they do charge p & p though)

Desley, you didn't happen to notice if it was the JWB with 1KG extra free, like PAH are doing did you?
7.99 + 1KG free now that would be a bargain! :)

I wish we had a wilkinsons a bit nearer, they sell near enough everything and such good prices. We are lucky with what we do have though, although our Lidl never seems to have the pet items they advertise.

I think I am going to try going to The Range in milnrow tomorrow - shouldnt spend more money on the cats but I am terrible

Ours is next door to Netto and is a really big store, but I dont tend to get anything other than cat food from there - the ID barrel for Tiger's collar was more expensive than Wilkinsons, but it would have cost more in petrol and time to go to Wilkinsons for one (even more annoying is that I know I bought more last time I got some, I just dont konw where I put them!!). Collars are the same price as Wilkinson and PAH, and the safety ones did break easily, with a nicer look and feel than the others.

For anyone who doesn't know if they have one, the website is www.therange.co.uk

Tell her it is the one near Morrisons where Netto and Comet are. You can actually get to it from the one you know though, I just need someone in the car to give me directions!! It is near the Motorway at Milnrow though, if that helps you?

My friend lives in Milnrow so she must know where that is! The only retail park I know near there is the one with the Odeon in it  :scared:

I'll ask her and go have a look!

They are a Home and Leisure place Ela, we have had one for a couple of years now, but only been able to go since getting the car, and last time I went for dry food, we didn't have this section - dont know how they can continually sell JWB at £2 cheaper than the RRP, but I wont complain!!

Kingsway Business Park, near Milnrow. They have some really cool toys in at the mo too, and some organic catnip that smelt very strong for £1.99 - it was like a powder rather than leaves. I had to put it back though, got loads of catnip in the house!! They also had the 400g bags of certain flavours, so you can see what they think first.

If anyone has a branch near them, they sell JWB for £7.99 for the meaty varieties and 8.99 for the fish, which is £2 cheaper than the RRP, mine only had the Turkey and Fish varieites today though - but they do Kitten, Adult and Senior. Also, they are now selling Perfect Fit at a lot cheaper than anywhere else - I got a 750g bag of Senior for £2.15, think they are over £3 everywhere else, and the wet food is over £1 a box cheaper too.
