Freckleton, Preston, Lancashire   LOST   CAT    LOST: Male. Much loved Seal point siamese cat called Oscar. Neutered and chipped but went missing without his collar. Last seen on Lamaleach caravan park near Rydal Avenue, Freckleton. He has an inquisitive nature so could be likely to get stuck in somewhere ie garages, sheds, vehicles etc. Doesnt usually let people pick him up so could be hard to get hold of. Reward offered if found.... [ click for photograph ]    Leon Bergus: 01772 463815 or 07711 236767 (mob) http://www.amissingpet.co.uk/lostandfound.html

It might be helpful if we knew what colourpoint the cat is, so that we could target our search better ...

Sam-many thanks for your message-no joy yet
Black cat-Thank you for your comment but Siamese are much too easy to identify  if the colour is given-so it is up to the owner to describe the lost cat, not the other way round as unfortunately there are people who will try to claim what isn't theirs.
Despite having a lot of missing cats on our website and other rescue sites we rarely seem to find the owners of the strays we get.The number of cats that are chipped is increasing but not  enough yet to ensure all lost cats find their way home.

I hope so too but after 3 weeks it's beginning to look like a rehoming rather than a reuniting-such a shame as it is a very friendly and well cared for cat
