Vinnie and Rocky are two two year old unneutered ( :tired: ) toms. They're loving, cheeky and apparently good company. Their current owner has had a medical procedure which is making it difficult for him to care for them, so they're looking for a new home together as they're bonded.
I have said I'll organise checks to ensure the boys safety. Please contact me if you can help, thanks.
-
Still looking.
-
And again.
-
:Luv: Aww what lovely cats, such a shame. Fingers crossed for them xx
-
Thanks Janey.
-
Bumping.
-
These boys are booked in for neutering next Tuesday, after which either a permanent home or rescue space will be needed. If you can help, please get in touch. (I convinced the current owner that neutering would help the rehoming process. ;) )
-
Vinnie and Rocky are now neutered. :)
-
Had a message today from Vinnie and Rockys owner. He's still definite these boys need rehoming sadly. Please ask your cat loving friends if they have space in their homes and hearts for these boys.
-
Still looking, now getting urgent.
-
Ok, Vinnie and Rocky's owner is now getting a bit impatient with the homing process, so if any rescue spaces come up please let me know. I'd hate these two to be given to "just anyone" and I have no guarantees they won't be.
-
Such handsome boys :Luv: How about cross-posting to the Animal Lifeline forum - they seem to work wonders with finding rescue spaces further afield, I take it they are on the waiting list with local rescues?
-
Possibly. I've tried to get the chap to understand that is the best course of action to take, whether he has or not is a different matter....
-
Still looking.
-
So sorry to hear these lovely lads are still looking for a home :( Rocky looks so like Algie and if he is anything like him he would be a joy to be owned by :)
-
They sound wonderful, cheeky boys!
-
STILL LOOKING. :scared:
-
Bump.
-
Poor Vinnie and Rocky are STILL looking for a home or rescue space. Can anyone help?
-
Vet checked passed for potential home!! ;D
-
That is really good news, I am so pleased. If I were not so far away I would have given them a home x
-
I hope everything goes to plan for these two ;D
-
These two will be going to their home in the new year if all goes to plan. It would be in time for Christmas, but new owner has his Mum staying with an excitable JRT and it's felt the cats will have enough change to adapt to without a temporary canine resident!
-
Somewhat worryingly, the owner failed to tell me that Vinnie went missing BEFORE CHRISTMAS and had not reappeared.
Rocky has been taken to his new home, and we're trying to raise awareness of Vinnie being missing. (As it seems all the previous owner had done was "drive round the estate and talk to a few neighbours." >:( )
So, sad and happy news on this one.
-
As you say JS both sad and happy news, very frustrating for you after all your efforts to find them a lovely new home    I hope Vinnie is found soon safe and well.
-
I do hope that Vinnie is soon found and sad they've rehomed Rocky without his pal though if they're bonded :(
-
Sad news. Vinnies body was found a few doors up from where he and Rocky lived originally and it looked as though he'd been attacked by another animal. This saddens me for two reasons - 1) he was probably alone when he passed away and 2) he was still really close to where he lived but had obviously chosen not to show himself to them.
:(
I wish I'd found a home sooner.
Rest Easy, Vinnie.

such sad news
-
JS you did all that you could for Vinnie    it's so sad that Vinnie died the way he did, but it's thanks to you Rocky is in a wonderful new home.
-
So very sad JS but he is in a better place now. Dont beat yourself up you did so much more than anyone else
-
:( So sad, God Bless Vinnie xx
