I've used Indorex before, we have a 2 bed house and still had some left over after treating all rooms, cat beds, curtains etc.

Missed this, but we only have a two bedroomed house. A can of Indorex does the house with quite a lot left for the next "treatment." Thinking of fleas makes me itch too!

We've had them recently, first time in 20 yrs of having cats so not done bad but it was a shock.  I've had so many bites -  OH had none  :-: typical  I've used Frontline Combi and Indorex Spray but needed 2 lots of Frontline.  Vet said it's been a particularly bad lately because mild and damp and I think Pepper brought them in  :shify:

:-: curtains! now theres a thought!..never thought of curtains before!!! :innocent: right ill do those tomorrow!...need to get the new ones up in my bedroom anyway....

yes i get itchy and scratchy at any thougth of a flea!!!!.....probably because i know what its like to have an infestation!!! thank goodness for mordern sprays and stuff!!!

Vet also advised changing from frontline to advantage spot on flea and worm tabs as it has become ineffective in some cats.....i said i would try that next...but so far have not had any problems with regualr frontline...and like you do it regularly......

sounds as if you have the house covered!!! :shify: im sure no nasty fleas will escape your thourough work!!! ;D xxxxxx

Thanks all.... It was defo a full can, I always seem to need at least 1 1/2 and if I do curtains etc aswell I use 2 cans. Maybe I swoop accross the room too slow with it so use more? Wish there was a youtube vid to compare with  :evillaugh:

I don't think the boys have fleas as they're frontlined religiously on the 1st of every month and have got nothing from them when I've brushed/combed them but I have a couple of bites (could be gnats?) so thought it was better to be safe than sorry. It was the one year anniversary of spraying on the 25th of this month so was due to be done anyway - I was lifting bedframes up and spraying when my brother-in-law rang to say my sister was in labour so I remember the date :)

Indorex is 500ml, Acclaim is 400ml ... I used acclaim here a 3 bed semi and there was a tiny amount left. It says one can is a 3 bed house.

Makes me think you were too liberal or it wasn't a full can to start with.

lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

I recently did mine Helen and I've still got some left, I gave it a thin spray all over and then repeated it a few weeks later (although my vet said it shouldn't be necessary) we have a 2 bedroom bungalow

Hi Helen, i have alwys been totally paranoid about fleas and when i brought these two newbie kittens home i t took a couple fo days for wahtever eggs were on them to hatch....it was dreadfulll.(i had paid the woman who told me they had been frontlined and wormed as a donation! :-[ )....

Luckily i had some frontline  at home and frontlined them both immediately and the fleas just dropped out of them. :( the next day i went and got some indorex spray and have treated carpets, skirtings, cracks crevises....etc and washed all bedding etc...washed floors blahblah blah ..i have had to give my two older girls a double helping of frontline as i found a flea on Mollie!!!! :-[ Mollie has never ever had a flea or flea dirt on her....(very white fluffy thing she is) so was dismayed at this discovery....

I guess as long as you treat the cats, other furries in the house, wash bedding, hoover regularly and keep the floors clean there shouldn be a problem.....just keep an eye on things...we have a 4 bed semi but a couple of the rooms are cat free and we have mainly wooden floors and ceramic...(carpets can be a problem....)

it came highly reccomended by the Vet also.....

let me know how you get on.....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The blurb says:

Coverage: One can is sufficient to cover 79 square metres - the equivalent of an average 3 bedroom semi.

My house is a 2 bed semi, I've just treated the upstairs which consists of two larger than average bedrooms and a small landing and the can is empty  :-: I've always needed two cans to treat the whole house, am I doing it wrong or is the blurb misleading? Just wondering whether anyone else has managed to make one can do a whole 3 bed house!
