Yup.. There are indeed some very very stupid people around I'm afraid.  We have four black uns and I seem to have a little more than my share of good luck  :)  I mean how lucky can you get to be greeted each day by beautiful black furries?   :Luv:

See now, when I was young black cats were meant to be bad luck.... but my husband, when he was young it was black cats were meant to be good luck. He says the bad luck thing is silly because its always been known as good luck?! Im wondering if its because I was brought up in England and he is Scottish? Perhaps the scottish superstition is that they are good luck? Wierd. I dont believe in superstitions anyway :) xx

wow he is really photogenic, and looks like he doesnt mind his picture being taken. I have always liked black cats, i read somewere that black cats arnt that popular with people because of superstition, don,t know if thats true.

what a lovely looking cat you have and nice big bright eyes.
