I came in from work to find that Blip had managed to bring up a troublesome hairball (she has been trying for a couple of days) on the sofa.  I congratulated her, and on the fact that it was on the throw, which I pulled off to wash.

After she had had her supper, though, Blip, who was sitting on the table next to me, suddenly let out a terrifying noise, like a banshee.  I was halfway across the room in the direction of the cat carrier when she spectacularly regurgitated her meal.  All over the undercloth, the cover cloth, eight bamboo placemats and six woven placemats (which were in a neat pile on the table).

So, I have spent the last hour washing all of the above, much of it by hand.  If Blip had just turned the other way, it would have been a simple case of disinfecting the floor  :tired:  But I am sure she thought she was being helpful!

Still, the important thing is that she is fine and behaving normally now.
