Title: My babies not left my side.
Post by: **TINA** on December 18, 2008, 23:04:11 PM
Hi,  Had that novovirus, and its been awful.

And my babies have been with me all the time whilst ive been in bed.
Pod on my pillow, Rolo lay on me or snuggled against my legs & Splitz in Micks space (mick has stayed down stairs encase he got it)

But the day before it hit me bad, i felt poorly, headaches, felt sick, burning up & restless, and i snuggled on the settee for the night, my 3 babies then come & slept on the
settee with me.

Pod & Rolo have been ever so good & not caused havoc (they do everyday, runnin wild playin)
And splitz would not normally be so close to the boys either.

Im still not 100% got stomache cramps, hot sweats & feel really lethargic.

But it goes to show how our babies know when we need them, with loves n cuddling up to us snuggly & warm  :Luv2:

I just love them sooooooooooo much, words cant describe just how much.

And on Sunday they have little sister Flora coming to live with us forever xx

Whats novovirus?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1574414/GPs-urge-millions-hit-by-bug-to-stay-at-home.html

Loads of people at work have had it - 7 people phoned in sick on Monday, including a few that haven't had a day off sick in years (so definitely not hypochondriacs).  I've been a bit worried this week as I was in work on saturday with 3 other people.  2 of those 3 phoned in sick on monday.  No signs of it so far though, touch wood.

Our furbabes do seem to know when we're ill (except for Mosi who thinks I've stopped at home esp to play with him).  Hope you're feeling totally better soon

Will be snigging my scarf over my mouth on the tube this week then ... sounds awful. Glad your furkids kept you company - they are very good at times like that  :Luv2:

Definatly cover up with a scarf on the tube.
At first i thought it was food poisining, as had a bacon butty at work.

Altho today i still been ill, i have been thru the house with dettol, wiping everything down & washing everything just encase Mick catches it.
( i do pray my babies cant pick this up)

I am starving, but frightened to eat, just kept my fluids up today.

try a little dry toast (no butter or marge) and see how it goes. I also find chicken noodle soup a handy thing to help cope with that sort of thing. I had campylobacter for 10 days so can empathise ...

If you read the link, it says to eat............have to say I am worried now about going east this weekend and then back again to someone who works in a hospital.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I cant afford to be ill and dont know what happens if a diabetic taking tablets gets it.

I had it last year, came down with it on New Years Eve whilst we were out!

OH got it first, just thought it was food poisoning as we'd been out with friends for a pub meal and he'd had chicken. Then on new years eve we were out and I kept coming over really hot and feeling faint, just thought it was because the pub was hot and stuffy, but oh no!!!!!

It really does knock you for 6 though, it took me ages to feel 100% again afterwards.

Hoep you're feeling better soon x
