Not sure if this is what you mean, but our cat Amber got a fluid filled cyst which was drained, but kept filling up again until it was surgically removed?

thankyou Gill & Reets actually you are refering to sebaceous cysts .
Water cysts   ( tech name is Aprocine cysts )  are just filled with water and most vets just leave them as they come and go a bit like warts.I was trying to help a couple who have asked me if I had any knowledge of a cat with this problem as they want to do the best for the cat

Our Bailey had one on his ear that was drained for a couple of years then a newbie vet used a scalpel on it and made a bigger hole that was 3 years ago and has never come back and we have had 2 ops done on haematoma's again on ears, one is crinkled and the other on our Bibi Bengal is wonderful and her ear is upright again

Thank you Liz, I have spoken to the couple and they have arranged for the vet to come out to see the cat.
