Had a phone call yesterday from the vets to say a grey female had been found and she'd been living in a barn for the last couple of weeks and they'd passed on my number. It turns out our vet has lost his grey cat so I'm hoping and praying that this poor babe is his. I'm taking her to the surgery tomorrow for him to have a look, so fingers crossed she is indeed his. He doesn't want his wife to know yet just in case it gets her hopes up and she's not theirs. She is stunning and very well cared for, so if she's not his, she definitely belongs to someone :Luv: :Luv: I will take some piccies later of her :)

Do hope its the vets, and blue cats are just yummy ;D
Ummmmm Misa is frowning at me and Ducha rubbing my legs........I wonder if I said that aloud

Here's a piccie of the gorgeous girl :Luv: :Luv:

Sadly, this poor babe does not belong to the vet :'( Someone out there must be missing her :'(

Have you had a look on the national pet register: http://www.nationalpetregister.org/mp.php
-
Is there anyway of looking on there at specific areas or specific cats? I really haven't got time to go through the whole lot :tired:
-
I'll have a look for you and link and "possibles" ;)
-
Thanks hun, you're a star :Flowers:

http://www.nationalpetregister.org/mpi.php?pet=476 ... I don't think she is a lilac burmese is she?
-
Thanks Sam.......I've emailed the owner of the Burmese to see if he's got any piccies of her just in case. Looking at some websites last night, she does look to be Burmese but without knowing, it's hard to say :tired:

Aw, what a pretty girl :Luv: I hope she can be reunited with her slave. If she can't, she'll have no trouble at all in finding a new forever home if it comes to it. She's gorgeous.

Sadly I've not had anyone reporting this babe missing :'(

she's definitely a blue burmese. Those lovely big orange eyes, little pink tongue, stumpy tail. what an adorable girl. Can't imagine how anyone could lose one of these with out sending out an APB. My little sofie was a rescue kitty but I always thought she was burmese despite her little white bib (locket).

But that's the confounding thing about humans. They spend oodles and oodles of dosh on a pet, then six months later they'd bored...
Beautiful cat. I'm sure she'll get snapped up if it comes to rehoming.
Fingers crossed.... :Luv:
-
She's beautiful :Luv: did you have any response from the missing ad for a burmese?
If only all breeders would chip their litters.
-
Sadly no response for this little one whatsoever........I am really surprised as she has been well looked after and has a gorgeous temperament.

Whilst in the vets this evening, there was a lady who lives in the area Nikita was found. I've given her my number and she's going to ask around to see if anyone has lost her........I still can't believe no one has rang :'(
-
Has anyone rang yet? :Luv:
-
Has anyone rang yet? :Luv:
Sadly no which is a shame because she must have an owner somewhere :'( I'm going to keep her another couple of weeks and if no ones claims her, I'll put her up for rehoming.....she is such a babe and I'm sure she'll be snapped up :Luv: :Luv:
-
GOODLUCK
-
:Luv: she looks a wee gem.
Hope someone comes forward soon to claim her, she looks comfy where she is though, Good Luck

I've now put Nikita on my homing page....I would love to keep her longer but sadly I am inundated at the moment and I've had her a month now and no one has come forward. I've just had a lady on the phone who's seen her picture and she thinks she's beautiful :) She's going to call round in a couple of days to see her, and she may also be considering a couple of kittens as well. She lives out in the country which will be perfect so watch this space :shify:
-
nooooooooo you can't keep her Dawn hee hee . :) ;)
Are there any Burmese breeders local to you ? may be the cat might have been bought locally and there is sure to be a pedigree record . Not sure how you'd tell one burmese from another lol but they might be able to supply a list of possible owners based on geographical area age and sex .
-
I'm not even sure she is a Burmese and I don't think we have a Burmese breeder locally but not sure.......I emailed her picture to Sean and he thinks she's a moggie but a gorgeous one :Luv: :Luv: If she does belong to someone, they've not really tried finding her as I've reported her as found to all my local rescues, the CP and the RSPCA. If I wasn't so over run with cats/kittens at the moment I would keep her longer in the hope someone would get in touch. Whatever happens with her, she'll get a fab home and she'll be loved and wanted :Luv: :Luv:
