Title: FOUND CAT: Black DSH found in Downs Court Road in Purley
Post by: Debsymiller (Rufus' mum) on January 15, 2009, 20:55:56 PM
Young black cat.
found in Downs Court Road in Purley.
He is a black male shorthaired cat, very friendly. He is unneutered and approx 12-18month old. He is not wearing a collar and is not microchipped so we have no way of contacting his owner but he is currently in the care of the Village Animal Hospital in Caterham. He has been involved in a RTA and although injured, he is in a good, stable condition but we would really love to reunite him with his owner. If you think this may be your cat, or the cat of someone you know please do call us. (East Surrey Cats Protection)

Thanks Sam, good idea but sadly he isn't on there. He was likely to be having his op today for his fractured jaw as we have decided as a branch we are going to financially support him. RSPCA(They offered £60- complete joke!), blue cross and PDSA offered no help and said they would PTS. There's no way we were doing that even though the fees are going to be lots as he needs a specialist surgeon as he has a fractured jaw. He is such a lovely cat though and purring and headbutting throughout even though he must be in pain. He definately needs a chance and the vet has advised that he will be fine after it's all healed and should have no lasting damage! :D I just hope we can find his owner (if he has one) as it would be lovely to reunite him after all he ahs been through. If we don't though, once he is well again and tht will take some time so we will advertise him lots in the meantime, we will be able to find him a lovely forever home.
We have named him Lancelot until we find out different! :)

Oh wow, yes it's a superb vets. We use it with CP and I also use it for my babies. I didn't realise you were so local Michelle or have you moved since?
