Well purr actually as its one of the loudest ones I've ever heard and it doesn't take him long to get going.
Currently King of the Bathroom rather than any jungle whilst we slowly introduce him to his two new sisters.
-
Oh he's a sweet boy! :Luv2: Luna has been telling the boys all about him. ;)
What is happening with his teeth Louise?
-
he has such a gentle face!
-
Well he certainly seems to be content enough at the moment and he has a bit more room in the bathroom than he did at the rescue.
He is so cute - very happy to purr and come over when he is called. Dinner (which didn't look or smell as bad I as I was expecting) got wolfed down and he doesn't seem to be as nocturnal as the girls which can only be a good thing.
At the moment we won't do anything with his teeth. I'm giving him a few weeks to settle in and will take him to our vets for an mot and on vet recommendation he is on aloe vera juice as well as his raw food. He had it for the first time last night mixed with his dinner and it seemed to go down well. It will help keep any inflammation at bay as well as help keep him in good health generally so he will be having two half capfuls a day compared to the girls one.
My vet didn't seem keen on the whole mouth extraction so I think for now I'll just take him for regular check ups.
No crying last night and he was snuggled up in his carrier when I went in this morning.

Awww, he is a sweetie! I'm not sure about him hanging from the ceiling though :evillaugh:
-
What a beautiful boy :blow kiss: I do try and keep it a secret (not :evillaugh:) but I have a thing for gingers :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
P.S To prevent any neck injuries, here is the beautiful Simba :Luv:
-
Operator error!
Thanks
-
aww he is gorgeous. Hope he will soon be nice and settled in with you :)
-
What a cutie :Luv: :Luv:
I had a Simba once upon a time :) :)
-
You are sweet Simba   welcome
-
You might want to get him insured before he sees your vet for the first time. :shify:
-
Yes that is really good advice from Sheila and also remember you then have to wait two weeks before going to vet.
Also of course he is absolutely healthy isnt he :innocent:
-
We've got him on temporary insurance for the moment but to get him on the other one is a job for tomorrow.
He seems ok tonight. I've been in with him for half an hour and he hasn't stopped purring.
All food eaten again.
He does look healthy enough - apart from the teeth problem.
-
That's a good sign. Keep it up Simba
-
Well, he certainly seems a happy boy. He's playing having the odd treat (dental ones) and purring away like a luxury car.
The girls have realised there is someone in the bathroom and my timid Miss Cleepot is pretty chilled but Madame Luna had a hiss and a growl at the door last night and flounced downstairs in a sulk.
She has, of course, had lots of fuss but she has taken up residence under the sofa.

He is :drool;
-
he is scrummy :Luv:
-
He look lovely but I think we need more pictures to really judge. ;D
-
He is adorable :Luv:
-
I'll try to sort some more pictures out as he is lovely. Very much the kitten still as the scratches on my hands testify! He is very fast and has already picked up how to play with the race track and what the rattle of a treat box means!
The raw food isn't as minging as I thought it would be and doesn't tend to last long enough to smell.
We're going to gently start some introductions later this week but for now the girls treats are outside his door. He is quite a nervous little fella so hopefully that bodes well for him learning his place in the heirarchy quickly - it will probably be somewhere above the humans but below Luna and Cleo.

well that goes without saying :scared:
-
He'll be fine as long as he understands Luna is in charge and whilst she is asleep Cleo is!
-
Sounds really positive, Louise. Keep it up. :gold stars:
-
Thanks Sheila but no gold stars for me yet until I know what my Divas are going to be like. I should have called them Shirl (ey Bassey) and Barb (ra Striesand).
They were touching paws with Benji two doors down yesterday through the kitchen door so maybe I'll put Simba in the conservatory if its not too hot next week and see how they are.
