I have been contacted by my local vets. They have had a stray in with them since beginning of August, and the large animal rescues have declined to help him. He has no medical conditions. He is neutered, and around 4/5 years old. He is tabby and white, short-hair, very friendly and affectionate, and I am desperately hoping we can find a rescue space or new forever home for him quickly otherwise they will put him to sleep.
Can anyone help?!

Hi and welcome.
Where about are you/the cat?
-
We are in Swindon, Wiltshire - but could put together a transport run to get him to wherever there is a space for him.
-
Positive vibes for this poor babe to find a forever home soon~~~~Best of luck! :Luv:

Just to let people know, Tabby is now safe with me. Cat Action Trust have provided rescue support and I am fostering him until they can find a forever home for him. He will be isolated in my front room and will have to put up with my company and the TV in the evening as the rest of my cats are FIV+ but that is better than spending any more time in a vets cage or, as was imminent, pts. He is a sweet, friendly thing and is already chilling out on my sofa.

Oh Moira - well done! He looks so much happier already than he did in the vets. What a lovely picture for his first evening of love and freedom.
Thank you - I am going to go to bed with a big smile on my face, knowing we have made one cat's life a bit better...

Thanks, Michelle.
Tabby, or Max as I have named him, is doing very well. He came with three lesions from fighting but these are now healed and he was vet checked and microchipped last Wednesday so hopefully no more getting lost.
