Well, where to begin? Here we have Billy and Zarny and Billy is the ahem, pee-er so to speak. :shy:
He is a gorgeous 7 yr old ragdoll (for those of you who I haven't rambled to yet!) ex stud and been kept in a pen in the garden.
He isn't a typical ragdoll, he is not very confident, scared of people walking around the flat, not interested in food. Has a very judgemental face :evillaugh: when we got him he peed EVERYWHERE and successfully destroyed a stretch of carpet (now replaced). He was utterly terrified (that was with 1 pet remedy and 4 feliway plugs going!)
BUT...
He now follows us to the kitchen to see whatcha doin? Throws himself on the floor for cuddles (when we are sitting down). Delights in playing with toys and throws himself into any play session with wild abandon! This morning the bed mice surrendered! :rofl:
He loves webbox sticks and so very gently takes them from our hand.
He doesn't purr often, but when he does, oh boy it's a Barry white deep deep tone and it warms my heart to hear it.
Inside he is a giant marshmallow with messy fur (think Einstein, his winter coat is all wild long tendrils!!) That feels like I would imagine stroking a cloud. :shy: :Luv2:
He still pees very occasionally (had one this morning where a tray was moved from a week ago, and yes we have 5 trays for 2 cats) but do you know what? As long a he is happy I don't care!
So this is my confession, I love a piddler, and ain't nothing nobody can do to change it! :evillaugh: :Luv: :Luv2:
(And don't worry he still sits in judgement watching us, I do wonder what goes through his head)

Oh Jen. That is so beautifully descriptive of your relationship with Billy. Bless your soul! :wow:
What you have given back to this cat is self esteem, love and affection by the bucketload, and confidence. ;D You've taken him and Zarny into your home and into your heart. Under your care and your regime, he's getting the chance to blossom, and to be more in life than just a production engine.
I think in time the piddling will stop, and that it's down to the odd occasion, and considering he was a former outdoor stud, his current progress is nothing short of miraculous - that's down to you that is. :cuddle: You should be right proud. :Luv: :hug:

He's obviously becoming more content as time goes on, and hopefully the peeing will totally stop :crossed: it's still fairly early days for him coming from a pretty awful situation, especially if he's been living like that for all of his seven years :'(

I realise it is a pretty random post but wanted to shout about Billy! He has come on really well and it's lovely to see him come out of his shell. Hopefully in the future the peeing will stop, but if it doesn't, as long as he is happy and healthy I don't care.
Life is funny in the directions it sends you, and I am sure BFG had a guiding paw (or 3) in this somewhere. :evillaugh:
Found if you tie a flying frenzy attachment to a shoelace it entertains 2 cats at once, one running around the the toy in their mouth and the other chasing the shoelace :rofl:
What's that thing tigers do? They make a funny chugging noise to each other. Billy does that to us and Zarny! :Luv:
Any other occasional piddlers out there? :evillaugh:

Not pretty random, Jen. Why wouldn't you want to share updates? ;D. Where else could you (we) discuss less and poops and know that somewhere "out there" a legion of other cat slaves are nodding sagely and smiling. :allears: :evillaugh:

We had 2 contractors in today (fixing Windows and servicing the clock) and Billy was brave, had a quick investigate in a toolbox, played with his toys and went to sleep unimpressed! :Luv2:

He knows now he has a proper home, is loved, can play and really be himself and has blossomed in your care ;D ;D
These two have brought you happiness again and nothing can beat that ;D ;D
We love hearing and seeing all the stories so not a random thread at all.

I've sort of got a piddler cos Kitty digs a hole in her litter tray and then puts her bum at the opposite end and pees outside the tray ;)

I have had an evening out and we have a puddle on the floor. It seems Billy gets a bit upset if I stay out :evillaugh:
But you are right, what's a bit of cat pee between friends?
It's odd, I thought there were some behavioural problems I couldn't deal with but there is nothing I wouldn't do for my special babe Billy. I have been ill all week and he has slept beneath my blanket by the sofa this whole week, you have no idea how much that means. I realise other cats would be perhaps more affectionate but this is the ultimate display of trust, staying so close to me when I am coughing and spluttering and making all sorts of noises! Also being so close to my frets when I get up.
I loves my babes Zarny and Billy and am externally gratefully for being directed this way by Benji, Fred and Ginger :Luv2:

We had some REALLY LOUD ONES going off for about 10mins last night.

Puddle of piddle I could handle. Teddy prefers to piddle in much less obvious places and up against things!! That way, I get a nasty niff and have to hunt it down OR I lift something and get a handful :sick:
Teddy largely lives outside (his choice thankfully) where he has 2 houses of his own he can piddle in!!!
