Ahhh poor Lana .... keeping everyting crossed for her.   It's still early days so there is a chance that once the swelling / bruising goes down she may get feeling back in her tail.

and that she is kept away from roads in future  :(

Its quite a worry that road - when my friend first moved there it wasnt a through road, but recently it has become one. Her previous cats were both elderly and she had them when they were already older cats - so they never went anywhere, just to the patio and back! but Lana and Theo, only about 10 months old or so - they go over the fence in her back garden and get themselves round to the front.

Little Lana got hit by a car on Monday, she's still at the vet apparently. I havent been able to talk to my friend yet, but she left me a message to say Lana has a fractured pelvis and there's likely some nerve damage and she may have to have her tail amputated. My friend was waiting to hear back from the vet about whether Lana can come home at the weekend, and if so she'll have to have cage rest. I've phoned and left a message but no update yet.  :(

When I first saw them at the end of Aug I took a couple of play cubes which they loved. However, I spoke to my friend a few weeks later and she said they'd managed to demolish them - she wasn't wrong. Have ordered some more for the next visit LOL!

This is Lana the first time I went over there, in one of the cubes before it got annihilated.

My friend's new kittens - VIBES FOR LANA PLEASE
« Reply #1 on: September 20, 2009, 11:36:53 AM »
Went to visit them again yesterday, boy they've grown in just a few weeks LOL!  They are about 4 months old now, the little girl is called Lana and the little? (he's gonna be huge!) boy is Theo. I first saw them a few days after they arrived and they had already settled in like they'd always lived there. My friend has always had rescue cats over the years and she lost both her last two cats Ziggy, only recently, and Zasha a few months previously. The plan was to take on another couple of rescues, but the best laid plans.....and along come Theo and Lana  :)

Lana just about to pounce on Theo

Theo taking over the kitchen table!

Oops, where's Lana's head gone? LOL!!

Lana, curled up next to me
