I have had Synulox and could have had the nisamox ones ( well not me personally  ) -  it would have been Smartie as he is always on some sort of tablet ! He may have had it for cystitis or his snotty nose due to herpes virus , or when he had a bout of sickness and diarreah_(spelling!). He has a few of those ending in mox, nox etc. Not sure if it made him sleepy though as he is always in front of the fire or in his heated bed !!

Not sure about sleepiness, just seem to notice they seem a bit withdrawn when on antibiotics generally. What injection did he have? Sam had nisamox tablets to start taking after the antibitoic injection at the surgery, which was Betamox.

Did any of them show any kind of side effects like sleepiness?

Yes Gill, they are what my vet usually prescribes - same/similar thing to Synulox I think.
