they do sometimes. Yes they are good as getting people over but sadly we are not so good at 'closing the deal'.
Now, if we had a pound for everybody that came up and said "are they real?" we'd be quids in (or even 10p!).

Great stuff, anything that brings the punters in! :wow:
There was a lady in Chapel Hill collecting for the local cats home, she had a big soft fluffy (real) dog with her sat outside the supermarket. :Luv2:
ALL the kids passing through wanted to come over and pet the dog. :cuddle:
She rapidly shoved flyers in the hands of their parents and engaged them in conversation about cat rescue and neutering (a big problem in the States too), just asking for a dollar from each one to cover printing costs and dog food for the fluffy dog, which of course the parents couldn't resist as their kids were already besotted by fluffy. Most folk coughed up a fiver at least, and they ALL took her flyer - she was utterly brilliant!
Know anyone with a big fluffy dog, Angie? :sneaky:
They also have notices on the public buses, explaining about neutering and giving phone numbers for low income families to get vouchers. All funded by the local authority. Magic. :wow:
