Almost sorted - Blackpool to Manchester needs to be covered....
-
So you have covered Manchester to Nottingham?
I could do the Blackpool to Manchester run.
Would need to sort out dates and times though as this would
need to fit around my work.
Can you let me know asap please.
-
Think so. Will double check and get back to you. :)
-
I can chip in and help if timings don't work out with Tiggerman. :)
-
Thanks.
-
As far as I can tell Tiggerman that part's covered. Will be attempting a list of people involved later. Thank you all for helping this girl.
-
Thanks for update.
Hope the trip goes well.

Well Done JS ....
You have put in alot of hard work to get this little lady to a safe place where she can be helped.
What I LOVE about you is the quiet unassuming way you go about things.
You don't want praise, you don't think you are better than anyone else ...you are such a genuine nice, caring person
-
Please check the title if you've volunteered. :)
And Michelle, thank you.

I am doing the Manchester to Chesterfield part! Just need to know where I need to pick up. I will be travelling from Flint in North Wales and can go via Stockport. I am leaving Flint at 5ish Sunday afternoon.
Love
Rachel

Right, so:
Blackpool to Manchester: Tiggerman
Manchester to Chesterfield: Rachel
Chesterfield to Nottingham: Gemma
That seems right!
-
Jack Spratt - just pm'd you.
Seen yourt post on CC, and yes my username is different on there!!!
-
Trying to do too many things at once! Sootyca, can you confirm you can do the bit Tiggerman said was OK if they're working at the time the transport run ends up being done?
-
Just to confirm I can be in Blackpool around 11.15 to 11.30am.
Assuming no hold ups I should be back around the Manchester or
Stockport area around 12.30 - 12.45.
These are the only times I can do on Sunday.
-
Have messaged Rachel to make sure that's OK. :)
-
I did respond but I think it got eaten! At moment I'm free on Sunday so should be okay to do a run if times aren't suitable for Tiggerman.
-
Great stuff. Have tried calling Nicky earlier but not getting a response - will call tomorrow. :)
-
I am the weakest link! I can't do those times :-(

Totally agree

Rachel, Sootyca can do other times if other folk can't work around Tiggermans.....what times can you do?
-
I usually leave Flint around 5. So I can be in the Stockport area for 6. I can do later but would prefer not to be any earlier. Sorry for being awkward :-(
-
Have messaged Sootyca - let's see if we can figure this out. ;)
-
Late Sunday is fine for me if the later pickups are okay for other people in the run. I've pm'd Rachel.

First pick up has been sorted as long as I can follow my sat nav and not get lost! :D She has a carrier that she will travel in so no need to make any dangerous changes. :)

-
thank you all ever so much for helping this poor girl out x i could cry i am so happy for her x
-
hope its gone well
-
First leg went fine - she travelled really well. Had an unexpected toilet stop within 5 minutes of setting out so she had a wander round the car whilst her carrier and blanket was cleaned out. Had to do another clean out when we stopped for the changeover and her blanket didn't make it that time!
She was such a sweetie though - she loved exploring the car and didn't have a problem being put back in the carrier. i confess I was nervous about letting her out but she did need cleaning up. Even had some head-butts off her. Her fosterer has done a really good job of calming her down.
She did say to be careful of her around food and she will just turn for no reason but she will make a lovely companion for someone. :)
-
I'm told she can be fine for days, really affectionate then....pow. But with time, I think the number of pows will lessen. She's so young.
-
aaaw bless her little heart :Luv2:
Mary
-
She was very tiny and pretty. I'm sure she would mean business if she attacks but hopefully in a calm household they will get less. Like I said, the fosterer was done a great job with her and said she would have her back if things don't work out. :)
Oh and the fosterer had several mini-Skys. 3 weeks old, so tiny and cute. I wanted to catnap them! :D
-
I'm told the lovely little lady has landed and is settling into her pen, purring a lot.
-
that's brilliant news :)
-
:yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: Well done JS and the 2 rescues involved
