Very handsome fella moggy with stunning ears in my opinion  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

My brother also has a pure Ginger girly ginger called Babli.  Rather than female giners being rare, I think it's just male gingers (of which she had 4) are more common  :)

Large(ish) pointy ears and being vocal sounds a bit Oriental to me.

He's a sweetie, whatever he is!

nope, i only seen his mommy through a pic when she was advertised.

i didn't realise cats lost all of their breeds in them. but i suppose it makes sense, that after a moggy breeds with a  moggy, along the line ..it would be just a moggy lol
how my mind hasn't discovered this yet is beyond me

Suspect no breed in him as gorgeous as he is, just an evolution over time as a pure bred moggy  ;D ;D

It is rare to get an all female gingey (not sure why though). Did you get to see the mother? In my experience sites like ad trader can be a bit dodgy.

Good to see he is with you now and is quite chirpy and curious! :)

yeah i think he's definitely a cross.
i also thought oriental with his slim face and large pointy ears :)

i got him from a woman out of the ad trader(or something similar), when he was 4 weeks old. i was told he was nine weeks, until he was being handed over, then they claimed he was 6 weeks. but the vet says he was 4 weeks.
she said the mother rejected the kittens and so they had to rehome them quickly.
only i was looking to see if the other kittens went (otherwise i'd of took them), only to see the mother was for sale for 100.
she was 2, full ginger - they claimed it was rare to have an all ginger female cat?

aww how cute! Where did Oscar come from? He looks slightly oriental. Could he be a cross? I've never had an oriental but they are very clever and have stunning pointy ears and faces (like a coloured siamese really).

i would love to know what breeds oscar has in him.
he is so vocal and hyperactive compared to my other cats.
he's getting more and more chunky as the weeks go by too.
he is about 18months now, but as my camera broke i have no recent pics :(
