That sounds great and so wish there was someone I could trust locally, not that my big cats trust anyone!

Thanks for your replies guys  :)

I went with the first recommendation 'Cat Care'  as they covered my area and at £15 per 30 min visit were very reasonable (although it was extra from Christmas period but that's absolutely fine)
Cathy who came over was great, she text on day 1 to let us know they were ok and we came back to a little diary of Drum 'n' Bass' Christmas and some photos of them playing whilst we were away  :)
We've left our keys witrh her and would highy recommend them. We got copies of the company insurance and Cathy's CRB check all emailed to us also. Great service which includes collecting post putting out rubbish, watering plants and turning lights on and off etc!

Happy New Year all!

My friend Anna runs a rescue in N8 - here's her Catchat page. I bet she knows somebody reliable.

I use Feed n Fuss, not sure if they have people over your way, we're in E17, but I definitely recommend them (having 7 cats, cattery is out of the question) and we do like our holidays.

Kathy from feed n fuss is our regular, she's been looking after us for five years now. She visits twice daily, does brill things with post, lights and curtains, and most importantly the furbs adore her - she has dreamies in her pockets and the furbs get properly groomed and cuddled.

Hey Everyone

Hope you are all well and ready for Christmas?

I haven't been around here much lately as have been busy relocating to London, it's been a busy few months...

All sorted and in for Christmas now though and Drum 'n' Bass have settled right in (despite Drum suffering from a hairline fracture in her paw and limping for a couple of weeks!), they are so very well behaved and chilled out with change, it's superb, they actually love the new house and we hope to build them an enclosure in the spring so our little deaf girls can have a play outisde  :)

Anyway, Moving to London away from my family has posed the small problem of holidays or spending more than one or two nights away... although we have lots of friends in London nobody is conveniently near to pop in and feed and we don't really know our neighbours.

Has anyone here ever used any cat sitting services? Particuarly in London but I am generally interested in if people think they are good anyway? To clarify I am just talking about a visiting service rather than a live in one. We are North in N8.
