Kizzy is in to be spayed today, she is yowling downstairs for food, bless her!! At least when I have fosters in for ops it is a lot easier to feed the others and not them.

This little one is being spayed on Thurs - her milk has pretty much disappeared, so giving her another couple of days to be sure. I do have an offer of a home for her too.

No pics sadly, been a very hectic week, this is the first time I have got to the PC since Thurs, only 879 e-mails to get through!!
Ela - I can get DRontal online for a good price, the only prob is every cat I Try and Drontal ends up foaming at the mouth, so I pay double the price to get Milbemax through the vet!! We aren't CP though, so can't get things like that through HQ. She is in better condition than what we thought she would be, so can hopefully get her spayed next week, as we know there are males in the area she came from. She is very friendly and affectionate, which is good.

30 Ela! In your house?

Didn't you know I live in a Mansion?

It was almost 30 can't remember exactly, that included mums and babies and I have 3 family pens outside also.

I couldn't cope with that many now.

She needs worming anyway, and they wont give me a tab without her being weighed.

Is that for CP cat or at least temp CP cat? The reason I ask is CP  Branches can purchase 100 Drontal at a time for about £1. 09 each via their HQ. Although they have to get the CP vet to agree to accept them. Then again if a vet wants CP business they usually oblige.

I think with the owners we will have to see what happens when they come back off hol

Wouldn't it be awlful if she wondered off while they were away.  ;D

Know that feeling well. In the past I have had almost 30 on occasions. Although I don't do that now, getting too old. ;D

Hi Tinyrosie - think Desley was referring to rescue remedy - it's a complementary therapy from Bach Flower remedies, and very good.  Safe to use on people, children and animals alike.  (not that I'm inferring children aren't people!)   :evillaugh:

Prob not - she has an odd feeling nipple too, and with recently having had kittens and them poss being taken away too early, I am just going to get her checked. She needs worming anyway, and they wont give me a tab without her being weighed. She is getting a lot better, but poor Tiger isn't, and taking it out on the others, so she is on RR today as well, and might look into Feliway.

Apparently given away, quite possibly too young. She isn't as young as 6 months fortunately, I am goign to try and re-arrange my vets app tomorrow to take her and Pumpkin, as she has warm ears - eating and toileting well though. She wouldn't stop growling last night though, even when I covered the cage up, she still growled away when anyone came into the room!! At one point last night, I had Tiger, Lucy and Shabba all sat on the stairs, and her growling away!! So got the RR out last night, and she was quiet this morning, so hopefully that will start dying down, or I will have to reshuffle cats, as Lucy wont eat in the front room anymore, and Tiger was very hissy spitty this morning.

Not sure what is going to happen vet wise, I have an app for one cat this week, and am hoping to take 2, not sure I can get away with taking 3 in a one cat app slot!! She is being de-flead and wormed tomorrow, and I am going to see how thin she is (we have been told she is quite thin) before deciding whether to book her in to be spayed next week. The plan is she is going to the rescue when she gets back from her hol (she is going this Sun, so everything has to come to fosterers), and I think with the owners we will have to see what happens when they come back off hol - but expecting neighbours to look after a cat with no food and no way of letting cat back in, could actually class as cruelty anyway. She is a pure black.

This one is only a temporary foster though!! The rescue lady has had a phone call off a friend, they know of a 6 month old who has been chucked out after having had a litter of kittens, her 'owners' have now gone on hol, asked neighbours to look after cat - not left a key, or any food. So, the little mite is coming to us, she deserves better than that. So, if you dont see a lot of me the next 3 weeks, it is cos I have 6 cats again (I do remember saying I was going to stay at 4, not sure what happened there!!), and am too busy for the PC!! It also means I have reached another aim - to foster more cats this year than last - only had 6 cats all of last year, she will be the 7th this year, and we are only at the beginning of May, I didn't think I would reach it that quickly, esp not with having an extra bod this year!!
