well, I'm well and truly stuffed!
After a post on here not so long ago about a site I shall never visit again, I went on my local one and saw that someone was selling a mum cat and her half persian kittens at £50 a go.
I offered at the time to take the mum cat, was told she had to be bought, offered £20 and heard no more about it so forgot. This evening I had a call from the girl (who had advertised on behalf of her friend as usual) to say she had mum cat (paid £20) and could i come and get her. After much delay (as I've already got another stray with 6 toes yeserday) I've just picked her up.
The 'friend' said the cat had had several litters. Of the 4 born in May, 2 died , the friend had one and the other has been passed round 3 homes already.
Anyway, half persian heck as like , a slightly (not even semi) long haired black and white moggie - can't believe anyone would think she had even sniffed a persian.
Still , I didn't pay anything and the 'friend' says she has no more cats.
However she's my foster No. 8 and I might even report myself to the RSPCA (you heard it here first folks).
So anyone in the coventry area want a half persian? or a cat with too many toes?
