My human, Amy works at Woodland Nook, part of Ashfield and Amber Valley CPL.

It's one of the rarer shelters which is almost entirely home to long-term-hard-to-home felines. She's a volunteer and feeds/cleans/loves the little critters. She's also looking after fundraising at the moment.

Uckfield, Crowborough & District Cats Protection. Have been a shelter holder, fosterer and trapper for this branch for over a year and have just taken over as Homing & Welfare Officer, so now also man the phone, do the rescues, home checks and much of the organisational stuff around all of that. I must be nuts...!!!

Gateshead and District Cats Protection - rescue and rehoming of cats and kittens and promotion of neutering and cat welfare. I'm the co-ordinator and update the web pages and do fundraising and anything else that comes along and needs doing

Ukrcc rescue and rehome ragdoll cats and others. I foster,home check,advertise on net,and put posters up in vets. And make people more aware of us.

Also Stadhampton rescue oxfordshire. I foster cats and Kittens sometimes.

I know we know alot of ya wonderful rescues already but i really need to get together a list of every rescue branch or independant rescue on Purrs so we can make a list up.

Please can ya post ya rescue name, branch if one, and what you do as a purrs member for the rescue (ie if you foster for a branch or run one etc) here for us peas.
