Thanks  :thanks:

She's slowly settling in, think its all been a bit overwhelming for her and she is a bit hissy with the resident cats - but they apparently arent taking a lot of notice of her lol!  ;D

Of course it's upsetting but must be the best feeling knowing she has a forever home now though

Thanks  :thanks:

Dropped her off today. She had a quick wander round and then went and hid under the settee - but has since emerged apparently, already met the 3 other cats - eeek! but no problems so far. She has her own space to sleep in tonight - and brand new bed brought specially for her by her new mum and dad  :Luv2:  and I left them with the blanket she had in the pen so she has something familiar. They are going to phone with further update tomorrow. I do miss her sweet little face when I go into the pens, she's been with me 5 months.......but at least I will be seeing her again very soon.

Does the rescue you foster for have a Cat Chat rehoming page? If they do maybe they could ask to make Duchess a 'top cat' so she's not on her own too long?

Actually, I don't think they do - just off to check - if not, thats deffo something we ought to have, good thinking  ;D

Bramble has a new home!

Bramble, who's been with me since end of May (came in with mum Juliette and sister Duchess) has got a new home, yayyyy!!! Some friends who I cat-sit for came over on Saturday and Bramble, who usually hides whenever people come, actually came out from under the blanket and enjoyed being stroked and rubbed all round their legs. So I jokingly said looks like she's chosen you  :innocent: . Anyway, they said they'd have a think because they thought Bramble might fit in well with their current 3 - they phone tonight and said they'd love to have her!

So she will be going to her new home on Tuesday and I will be taking her and staying around for a little while to help her settle - and then of course I'm going to be able to see her loads, not just when they go on holiday, but I pop in a lot anyway as we've become good friends over the few years I've been looking after their cats  :)

Means Duchess will be left on her own, wonder if I could tempt them......no, might be pushing it a bit lol!  ;)
