Hee hee it's great fun to have Two Gingies in da house!  :evillaugh:  I have noticed Gingies can be a bit more.... umm destructive and cheeky  :evillaugh: and two is just double the fun!  ;D

i really look forward to seeing how she gets on with Hobbes.  ;D I don't think ya will have any trouble as introducing little mad Ginge Garf to big Adult Ginge Gizmo went very well and they both were pees in a pod with personalities. Both pushy and cheeky and a great match.

Lovely to hear all the littuns have forever homes  ;D

As ya say now to find the same for little black  & Whites :wish:

Thanks Tan, she is such a sweetheart, purrs like a tractor and loves her cuddles  ;D They are all like that actually thanks to Maureen their foster mum who has done a great job with them.

Hopefully she will be coming home mid October once she has had her vaccinations and we make sure she has no more episodes. Little Bailey was poorly earlier in the week too so we think it may just be a bug they have picked up. Fingers crossed all will be well  ;D

Can't wait for her to join us although it could be total chaos with 2 ginger tornadoes in the house

Rest assured there will be lots of updates and photos when she joins the family

The other 3 are all being adopted by CP bods. Bailey and the tortie/tabby girl (can't remember if she is Mia or Tia  :-:) are going to live with our Welfare Officer who has unfortunately lost two of her cats this year, one to old age who was around 20 and one young boy who sadly died in an RTA. The tortie and white girl is going to live with a lady who fostered for us until recently who lost her cat to cancer earlier in the year. So they all have great homes to go to  ;D

Now just got to find homes for the black/black and white babies we have in

And finally some pics of the lovely Sherry and my news  :shify:

This little girl is going to be coming to live with me and Hobbes to be his new little sis  :Luv2: She can't come home for a little while yet because she needs her vacs and she is a bit late with them because of being a bit poorly. I am very excited but not sure that Hobbes feels the same

I will be changing her name as none of us (including her foster mum) are keen on it so will be starting another one of those naming threads to ask for suggestions - you have been warned

Sorry still no photos as a bit of a drama again. Sherry has been in the vets again so a little worried as we aren't sure what's going on. She was lethargic on Friday morning and not herself so Maureen took her to the vets where they found she had a high temperature and so they put her on a drip and kept her in. She has also been a bit constipated so they wanted to sort that out too. She came home yesterday evening with antibiotics and something to help her with going to the loo and she seems fine now, racing round the room playing, eating and using the tray. The vets said she was as happy as anything while she was there too and picked up really quickly. She's not really ill but there's obviously something going on that we need to get sorted. She may not have any more episodes but we need to keep an eye on her. She was due to have first vacs this week but that has been delayed by a week, the others are going to get theirs this week.

Sorry found lead but not had a chance to sort yet - I know I'm rubbish  I went to visit the babies last Friday and they are all doing really well. They are completely adorable, running round like mad as kittens should and they are all so loving and like to cuddle in to you. I did get some more piccies though not sure how good they will be as they never stayed still

I promise I will sort the pics out tomorrow  :shify:

Just a quick update, sorry not been on recently to update - been on hols from work and enjoying the rare sunshine. Kittens are 7 weeks old tomorrow and all doing well, they have now been moved from their kitten pen into the kitten room so have more space to cause havoc. Their names are Bailey, Tia, Mia and Sherry, the  alocholic theme is because their arrival disrupted Sheba's fosterer's evening libation, it was going to be Tia and Maria but Mia was preferred  We had a bit of a scare last week when Sherry had to be rushed to the vet early morning as she was poorly. She spent all day there on a drip and was well enough to go home later in the day. The vet rang later to say the problem had been caused by her being sick during the night and getting dehydrated so her blood sugar levels dropped. Once she had been on the drip for a while and had some glucose she was fine. Something to watch out for for those of us less experienced with raising kittens.  Fortunately Maureen who is fostering them spotted Sherry was poorly as soon as she got up and raced her to the vet. Apparently next day Sherry was bombing round the place and beating up one of her sisters  No further problems and all is well at the moment.

I did take some piccies and I promise I will upload them when I find the lead to my camera  I will also share my news but I'm going to tease you and make you wait

Thought I would change the title of this thread as things are much more positive now  ;D The three little girls are doing really well, putting on weight and being very good kittens. We are more concerned about the little boy as he doesn't seem to be thriving as much as his sisters and poor little babe is the runt of the litter :( Vet has checked him out and nothing seems to be amiss but we need to keep an eye on him as it could be that he's having problems absorbing his food. Hopefully he's just a bit behind the girls and will catch up with lots of loving care from his foster mum  :Luv2: I did remind her that Hobbes was the runt of the litter and took ages to put any weight on and look at him now - he's huge

Hope to get up to see them soon once they are settled and get some pics. Still early days but they are obviously little fighters, apparently we have one larger bossy one and three little fighters

A quick update, all babies are doing well, feeding well and their eyes are just starting to open. Apparently they have people fighting to take care of them at the vets  They will be going to their foster mummy at the weekend so once they are settled I will try and get to see them and take some pics.

We have a ginger and white boy, ginger and white girl, tabby girl and tortie girl  :Luv2:

Aww, i am so sorry to hear this, i always think stories like this should be publicised in newsletters to try and make the public realise what can happen when such young cats get pregnant. Fingers crossed for the babies, and RIP Sheba.
