Finally I managed to get the camera out ;D

Pingu is a real all-rounder and is growing into a cuddle monster!

Polly is coming on slowly. She is petrified of being stroked and picked up, but I did manage to do so yesterday. She has moved bedrooms as the builders are starting demolishing the kitchen soon, and I thought it would be quieter for her in with me. I could only snap her in hiding in her litter tray, but at least it was clean at the time.

Rosella, Pingu is very happy at the mo playing with his friend Kerry and his little sister Clare. He is still looking for his forever home, but welcome to stay with me for the duration! He has become a real cuddle monster on the qt.

Polly is still camped out in the spare room but gradually getting used to me being around. She really needs a quiet home with no kids as she has probably not been used to being in a family home. I`m looking to move her downstairs next week as I`m having the builders in and theyneed access to the spare room! On the plus side, she loves the other cats and her food.

Thanks for posting those pics Angie

Within 24 hours of going onto the website as ready for rehoming, Pogo had visitors yesterday :wow:

A lovely family fell for him hook, line and sinker. He`s going today to live with them, their elderly dog, elderly cat and with a big "sister" for company and to romp with. Lucky boy.

Hi Rosella

The boys are doing really well :Luv: They are normal, naughty boys climbing all over the place and running riot on the laminate in the hall. That`s when they are not trying to curl up on my lap, which is usually already full with kitties and/or dogs.

They are getting used to my cats now, who have decided they are not little scary things, but have a really good source of yummy kitten food to steal instead! I caught them sleeping with my boy Gary yesterday.

Mummy Polly is being spayed today. Poor thing, I dont think she is not used to being around people much and was not keen about being picked up and popped into a carrier. At least when it is all over and she is feeling better she can come downstairs out of the confines of my back bedroom.

Quick update on the boys -

They are both doing very well. I bought them downstairs a week ago for socialising, and they are running rings around the dogs, much to my new rescue Labs horror! She is so desperate to make friends with them and they keep running at her then legging it under the furniture! They have hung onto her tail and ears, and it must hurt, but she is letting them do it all.

Will try to take some decent photos this week, but they are just too busy at the mo to sit still.

Mummy Polly is having a good rest from them, and will be spayed at the end of the week when she is a bit stronger. She did such a super job of raising them all on her own, bless her.

Well I for one (and Judith!) saw them about 2 hours ago and  they are using the litter tray, beginning to eat and more often than not being ignored by their mum who prefers to spend her time away from them and under a bed! ;D

Just a quick update -

Polly is eating very well, and doing a splendid job of caring for her boys. :Luv:

Their ears and eyes have now fully opened this weekend, so wont be long until the hard work starts!

Room service anyone? :wow:

I havent been around much due to moving house, but just to say Judith was an absolute star picking these little ones up, as I was going out for the evening.

Mummy Polly and her two babies are now happily living in my spare room. I moved a week ago, and had said to Angie only the day before that now the boxes have been unpacked, I could take another foster in. At the time she did say things seemed to be quiet at the mo, but guess that put the kiss of death on things, lol.

Polly is being naturallly protective over her babies (called Pogo - ginger - and Pingu - black with white markings) at the mo so no photos as I dont want to frighten her. She is doing a fab job of raising them without me interferring: I am just providing room service at the mo.

When they are a few weeks older will try and take some.

Angie

Can't tell you what a comfort it was to be able to speak to you and Judith on Tuesday night.  I tried a few other numbers but naturally got answer phones.  It was after all gone 10pm.  Thanks so much for being there

I will be brief as this is open part of forum  :shify:.  My brother discovered on Tuesday that an uncared for local cat had 4 kittens in his shed.  By the time he realised, one had already passed away.  They are probably about 4 days old. One then went missing leaving other two crying to be fed and difficult to handle momcat.  Between me, my brother and cat loving neighbours, momcat and 2 babies were reunited in catloving neighbours' kitchen.

Brother can't keep due to young child and 3 of his own and catloving neighbours have 2 including 1 very elderly and of course we have 6 so..............................

I will leave covcats to supply any further info they feel may be safe to share but Judith of Covcats (Madasacatter) is a saint  :agree: :agree: :agree: and collected mom and 2 babies last night and they are now settling into foster care.

Momcat and both babies are of course beautiful  :Luv:
