Managed to get to church yesterday despite 5 inches of snow, it was the first time I have ever been in my local church as I have always gone elsewhere; anyway it was lovely and I felt I belonged, at the end of the service a couple came and took hold of my hand and offered to come and wash my litter trays, it took me a minute to realise it was wee Andy`s and Russells mum and dad, they were shocked to see me on oxygen as I have kept my illness pretty quiet around these parts.
Anyway am grounded now as have used all my bottled oxygen must order more later.
Teeth still awol and in truth if they ever turn up they will go in bin as I dont want this worry again.

Oooo how lovely T, i went to a bird centre a couple of years ago with my mum. As we went on a Monday and it was dead, they let us both hold two of the owls, which was
absolutely brilliant, as she loves owls.

p.s. it is sooooooo lovely to see you back on here, and on the up

I have had the most amazing day, Claire took me to Bridgemere for lunch and we were lucky enough to see a man collecting for a wildlife rescue; I was given a gauntlet to put on my left hand and then before I knew it Muggle a Bengal eagle owl was perched on my hand, I was even allowed to stroke her with my other hand, she was beautiful, so soft and silky and she stood so calm and proud ; Muggle has made my year and I told her so. Claire did get a pic of her and will send it later as its on her phone.
Still no teeth

If I had a pound for every time I've lost something inexplicably the boys would have lots of treats bought with the proceeds! I am certain they'll turn up sooner rather than later and you'll wonder how on earth they could have got where they did!

If you have swallowed your teeth, you probably won't even notice them coming out of the other end.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Tooth Fairy took them, have you checked for pund coins under your pillow? ;)

Seriously though, if you are that worried about it then you could always get an x-ray done at the infirmary.  At least have a word with your doctor and they will probably tell you it's absolutely nothing to worry about and that if you have swallowed them then nature will take its course :)

Rob came home and laughed at me but he has stripped the bed and searched high and low and teeth have gone. Sue they arent in my mouth honest and I have checked my person they are gone, must admit this upset me a great deal and brought out the tears because its yet another reminder of age related issues (those last 3 words are a polite description so Christine doesnt get cross with me) .
The good thing is I can also see the funny side those teeth must have got so fed up of living in my mouth to run away like that after over 20 years

Teresa, forgive me for asking, but are you sure they're no longer in situ?  Just when Julie mentioned that story, I recalled when I used to wear contact lenses, and once I forgot where I'd put them when I woke up after a good night out - panicked like mad and turned the house upside down to no avail.  Although when I thought about it, I realised I was able to see remarkably well.......  :-[ I'd slept in them, which was no doubt why my eyes were feeling very dry and uncomfortable but my vision was virtually 20/20.

T like others I thought it was individual teeth. Sorry for laughing.  :-[

Something that size you will have choked on and then some. So they must be somewhere just not in your belly

They'll turn up when you least expect them. In a food bowl belonging to a cat, in a robe pocket, stuffed in a tissue, in the oven/fridge or on the TV. Somewhere least expected.

  Im trying not to laugh - but I do hope they turn up or have done so by now!

I will tell you a true story - a little similar, which I hope might make you laugh and realise you are not alone in this sort of thing ...

Some years back, My Dad phoned me in a panic.

He had lost the nose bridge piece of his spectacles - (Some specs have a litle rubbery bit that sits on the nose, rather than two plastic pads each side)

Hed noticed when he taken them off to clean them - and searched the whole house for it.  He had got himself in a state, as his spectacles would slip about without it.

So I said I'd come and help him look.  I didnt think we'd find it and imagined trip to the nearby optician for a replacement.

I dont drive - so after a waiting for a bus and a 20 minute bus journey I arrived at his house.

And there was Dad, at the front door, with the missing nose bit from his specs STILL ON HIS NOSE!!!  He simply hadnt noticed it or felt it!

Now you're not as bad as that, are you ?!  :evillaugh:
