thanks guys we are so proud of him :Luv2:

I'm not sure on the MR hard thing.... he quite likes having his photo taken but goes where there isn't much light so need the flash and he's not too keen on that so makes himself look grumpy!

The problems he had with his eyes haven't really affected him which is great news although when he is tired the 'problematic' eye he had as a kitten tends to 'cross' a little.  But it just makes him look even cuter especially as he's not the brightest of little souls!  lol :Luv2:

Its hard to believe at times that he is only 8 months old as he is so handsome already... and yet he still has growing to do!!!

We are thoroughly enjoying having him stay with us just now, although he does make a crap window when I try to see the computer screen and is a terrible typist!!!

Now how could we forget this handsome lad?  :Luv:

I'm trying to work out if he's trying to be inscrutable or pretending he's Mr Hard in the last photos  :evillaugh:

Sarah, you've done a first class job with Herbie, you should be proud of yourself!  ;D

Wow!  :wow: What a handsome mogster of a puss!  :naughty: :naughty:

Congratulations! A job extremely well done! You must feel like the smugiest, luckiest nutter in kittydom.   :wow:

Thanks guys... he really is just such a handsome boy now isn't he??   and yes Julie... I am the happiest most coo-ing kitty mom... its great to see him happy and playing and the best bit is that as I homed him to a friend of mine I get to see him anytime I want and when she goes away he comes home to stay with us! :)

He is a very funny little cat though... doesn't do much in the way of meawing... he more 'meeps' at you rather pathetically when he wants something and is very very hangy on with humans.  He is back with us for a little while just now (hence remembering to get the pics) and he is sat cosied up next to my arm as I type. awww :Luv2:

He was such a little fighter and has done brilliantly... I'm so proud of him! :Luv2: ..... not that you'd tell!  lol

That's absolutely brilliant - you must be so proud.  I well remember the heart-stopping moments.  Its the first time I've seen the video clip though and that really brings home how tiny he was.

Cat Update - Who remembers this little mite???? Pics a plenty!
« Reply #1 on: November 30, 2008, 17:50:41 PM »
some of you may remember back in February of this year I was hand rearing a little lad who was called Pop at the time.  Some of you may remember the thread named Pip and Pop of which sadly Pip only made it a day or two.

Back then... little Pop looked like this.... as we reared him from just 2/3 days old.

A few short weeks later Pop was up and down with eye problems, even before his eyes opened and many a time did we have our heart in our mouth.  He then started to resemble some kind of curly haired sheep look-a-likey kitten!

But as always little Pop was full of fighting spirit... as you can see in this wee vid!  (click to view)

Here is a pic of little Pop at approx 4 weeks old.

This is him around 10 weeks.... lazing about and flashing the belly as always!  :Luv2:  but he wasn't over making us worry after he took a reaction to his vaccination  :(

Here he is at around 12 weeks shortly before going to his new home...

and the day he went to his new home   :'(

welllll.................................. look at the handsome young fella herbie is now!!!!!!!
 :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
