Wisp went to her new home a couple of weeks ago and just received this email from her new owners, really delighted as she is a cat with attitude and was difficult to place.

Dear Tereasa,

Just dropping you a line to let you know that Wisp, (now Tiggie Wisp) is proving to be a great family member. She is absolutley adorable. A little unpredictiable perhaps, but thats a great part of her charm. We love her to bits ,she welcomes anyone that visits she has now made our home her home. She loves roming the garden and even ventuers out on to the front. We are so thrilled with her and she has settled in well. Here are a few snaps...l

Not got time to resize pics at moment, but she looks very happy

Looking at these pics, it's hard to believe she was ever skinny and poorly, isn't it? Well done yet again, Teresa.

I have to admit that is something I have never done either - some of my cats haven't given me a choice in matter though, they have pinched the other cats biscuits and ignored the food I went and bought specially for them!!!

Something light is recommended after G.A. more likely to stay down.

And that's something else I've learned. Why isn't it advisable, Teresa?

Spay and microchip went ok. She enjoyed 2 satchets of Whiskas on her return and is a little annoyed that she has no dry food tonight. I really should have called her Miss Piggy.

Well the little madam turned into a raging tiger this morning because there was no breakfast, she definately has a Jekyl and Hyde personality which seems to be governed by food.

Desley
She`s doing really well now, you can`t tell shes thin until you touch her,not having any luck with pics yet she is always too busy at the food bowl. She is still eating 4 satchets a day plus 2 bowls of dried and washing her dish clean, she had stronghold and has had 2 milbemax wormers. Still smacking me when I steal the empty food bowl but with claws in now and lots of affection given otherwise.
She is so much different from the scrawny growling wreck that first arrived.

I have my wonderful friend Claire R to thank for the lovely name, she is in charge of all names

So glad that Miss Wisp is coming on in leaps and bounds and I'm sure she will get the hang of the food, wish our Miss gracie (feral circa July 2005 age 15 then in vets estimate) she is now a long haired tortie in full sail all 6.5 kgs of her - she literally stalks and guards all the food bowls and tells us if someone has eaten all the biscuits from one side of a bowl!

She is still wary round feet, dribbles when stroked but according to the vet is in fine fettle and we are now on l;ight biscuits for all but gracie isn't loosing any wieight and has been her current weeight for a year so our older vet said if it floats her boat then let her be happy, she does exercise and is quite a sight for eyes chasing a laser pen as she is a longhaired tabby!

I'm sure under your care and with Wisps guidance we will have a happy outcome, gracie has repaid us by trusting us and its a lovely thing as she sleeps on her own chair in our bedroom and she seeks us out and loves all the cats around to! ;D
