OK - thanks for trying, Gill.

So we're back to looking for somewhere safe for this lad then. (He doesn't have a name. :()

I asked my neighbour today and she said she will speak to her daughter but also says that her daughters OHs mother who lives across the road also knows of a cat who needs a home.

Apparently the OH has just had an op and they want to wait until he is feeling better. so dont hang your hopes on this one, sorry.

He has a Felix face and so lovely.

Only just seen this and will ask my neighbour if they have chosen one yet. He looks gorgeous and I am a sucker for black and whites and they had a real hissy spit ginger who only them could touch. I was actually frightened of her and to get her out of the garden used to walk towards her holding a garden seat!

My cats were terrified too but someone beat her up badly next door and ginger fur was everywhere and she was never the same again. There was another cat seen around about that time and suspect thats who it was , although my cats got the blame of course!

I do hope he stands a chance with your neighbours daughter and son in law, Gill. :)

Ok, here's the information I got back.

The lad in question is approximately three years old according to the vet that neutered him. The reason the lady can't keep him is she already has three cats and quite sensibly thought about whether or not she could afford another "full time" cat, and decided it wasn't practical.

He apparantly was getting beaten up a lot by other cats, which is the main reason she caught and neutered him. And he lets you stroke him but is understandably nervous at present!

It is that the rescues are full, Gill. She specified that so has tried going that route first.

I would assume this cat isn't happy with her other pets, but am not sure. Have asked for age, personality and looks details. Will get back on to you ASAP. :)

Do you know any details about the cat, like age and colour and purrrsonality? Why is she unable to keep him if she has been feeding him?

My neighbours daughter and son-in-law have recently lost their cat Jess to the Bridge and know they are looking for another cat, I dont know if they have found what they are looking for yet but were looking at kittens.

I live about 12 miles from Carmarthen and there are very few rescues and not one that I would recommend cept Swansea Cat Protection and probably they are full.

Wasn't sure which section to put this in.

A lady has been in touch with me regarding a stray she has been feeding for approximately three weeks. She managed to catch him and has taken him to the vets and got him neutered, but is unable to keep him.

Can anyone help her out?
