Quick update on Jasper who will be getting his name changed when I think of a better one  ;)  He has now turned into a soft lump, and adores having fusses and can eat for England  :Luv:  :Luv:  His cuts have cleared up now which I think were from fighting and he's doing really well.  He's very talkative which Candice and Mags will verify  :evillaugh:  :evillaugh:  He doesn't shut up until he's had his say and you've given him a fuss  :Luv:  I think he is an old boy but hopefully that won't put anyone off rehoming him, he'll be going in for his jabs sometime next week and I'll get the vet to give me a rough idea on his age, because I'm not very good at that sort of thing  :shy:

But he's not very impressed with the facilities, is he?  :evillaugh:

I know, poor little babe, he'd spent a full night in a trap before he got to me as well  :(  It must be awful for them but in the long run it's for the best.  At least once he's settles, he's got a good chance of getting a home and he seems a lot better this evening, he's stopped his growling and is doing little meows at me now  :Luv2:  :Luv2:  He is full of scabs round his neck so he looks to have been a bit of a bruiser but should settle once his hormones have subsided.  I'm pretty sure he's an older cat but when he goes in for his jabs, I'll get Sean to give him the once over.  I'm going to leave him a few days to settle first before another vet visit, apparently they had to use a crush cage on him when he went in the other day  :scared:

he's lovely! is he a cuddlebum or haven't you have opportunity to socialise with him yet?
 :Luv2:

Can imagine the result of Dawn sticking her head in the crush cage to socialise irritated hormonal tom cat

:evillaugh:  He was a little irritable last night when I transfered into a dog cage, quite growly but not going for me, I think it's a combination of being frightened and him not being impressed with his bits disappearing  ;)  He seems a little calmer this evening although he tends to shy away rather than confront me, I'm sure he'll settle in a few days bless him.  He doesn't look to be a young cat but I haven't got a clue on his age.   He was done by the CP's vet and I think they just did the basics with him, which was nut chop, worm and deflea  :tired:

I cannot deny that a cat lover and his cat have a master/slave relationship. The cat is the master.

Jasper has just arrived and I'm pleased to say he isn't a feral  :)  He looks a bit of a bruiser with scars to match, he's a tabby/white and looks to be a pretty big boy  :Luv:  :Luv:  He hasn't hissed or spit at me but I've still got him in a crush cage so it may be different when I put him in a dog cage  :scared:  I've taken a couple of piccies of him in the crush cage but I'll take some better one's once he's settled bless him.
